I bought a Scentlok Revenant Jacket because of the peer pressure from @Still Kicking and @Exhumis
Glad I could be a bad influence.I bought a Scentlok Revenant Jacket because of the peer pressure from @Still Kicking and @Exhumis
Scentlok takes a lot of crap for their carbon which washes out after awhile(lots of washes) but they also use zeolite and silver which sitka and under Armour both use. I hardly wash my gear except if it get bloody so I’m good with that. I don’t use Johns method but ima smelly dude so I take all the help I can get. Also, I have orangutan arms and Scentlok makes “most” of their stuff in tall sizes and even their regular sizes fit me pretty well. Their large fits me perfect and getting outer layers in xl gives me room to maneuver. Many of their items have a soft outer layer which is quiet and about half their line blocks the wind. They regularly run specials and if you are prior military you can get 30% through expert voice. Just my two thoughts. There stuff is half the cost of sitka and I can’t stomach that cost for something I use sporadically. What was the reason for going with Scentlok rather than FL or Sitka? I'm in the market for some late season outerwear this year, so am curious....
The alpha is back in stock sir!I almost pulled the trigger on the Scentlok, but the Bibs weren’t available in my size. Phew!
Did buy a Treehopper Mini Hand Drill though.
I love Sitka but that new stuff is a bit outside what I am willing to spend. Let me know how you like it though!Accidentally(sorta) bought a Used Sitka Incinerator jacket. I hate myself honestly
Happy to be able to take the blame for someone buying new gear. We gotta stick together!I bought a Scentlok Revenant Jacket because of the peer pressure from @Still Kicking and @Exhumis
You can never have too many knifes!I love Sitka but that new stuff is a bit outside what I am willing to spend. Let me know how you like it though!
Bought another knife.....not sure why. Guess when it gets here I'll just toss it in the box with the other ten I don't use. Knives get me every time
Cant go wrong with the Outdoor Edge knives with the replacement blades. You always have a razor sharp knife while out in the field. I've never been the best at making sure my knives always have a good edge, and there is nothing worse than trying to field dress a deer with a dull knife. I bought one two years ago and haven't looked back.Well crap I forgot I did buy a knife too had to get one of those outdoor edge with the razor blade With the skinning tool on the other side.. Used one this year and fell in love had to have one for myself
With me it's flashlightsYou can never have too many knifes!
