Ehh I don’t buy it. I think he just enjoys swimming in them nasty swamps and playing in the mud. It’s understandable In this heat though.
You ain't wrong. I'll take any excuse to jump in the water. Heck, 2 weekends ago I backed a boat down a launch without a rope tied to the trailer. Took a little swim there in front of the entire Council of Old River Rats who were drinking beer on the dock.

Just came back from a quarter mile jog. I have to get back in shape.
More pork shoulder for brunch. The tough pork rind could not resist cooking at 175F for 4 days.

 
Got my sidekick helpin haul hay today. Shes 10 and pullin loaded through the fields

I was drilling some climbing sticks and the drill slipped out of my hand and lawn darted my calf, 1/4" bit about 1" deep.
Peroxide it stuff it full of salt rinse it out glue it you'll be golden
