My fingers are covered in super glue, and I have a bunch of arrow shafts with failed fletching.

I have no idea why, but I can't seem to get these feathers on. Vanes are easy peasy, but these are giving me problems...

Which ones and what was your favorite?

The other day, I shot the Solution SS and the Revolt. Today I shot the Revolt X at a different shop. They are all 1/2" long on the draw, so the ones the other day (Solution SS and Revolt) were too long. Revolt X today at 29.5" felt perfect in length. Monday, I'll go back and shoot the Revolt at 29.5" while the X is fresh in my mind and might order one right then. The Revolt has 0.75" more brace height which can be important in a saddle with a bunch of layers on.

The Revolt X today was the nicest bow I've ever shot in my life. Between the Revolt and Solution SS, I preferred the Revolt. The Solution SS is smoother but noticeably slower, and the Revolt on comfort mode is wayyyyyy smooth enough. Also, Revolt has 0.25" more brace height.

It's probably smarter to just drive 4 hours to Lancaster Archery Supply and be able to shoot them all side by side at the proper length, but I'd rather support local businesses when possible.

Started figuring out the Vertical Mill and tapped my first hole. Working on shop built fixtures etc for now, but hoping to make some hunting stuff after a while.

Today I was at my weekly trip to Rural King and they had camo 50% off. So I picked up a few shirts. Within this past week I got my first crossbow. It's a Centerpoint Sniper 370. Got some Bloodsport Witness bolts off of Amazon for it. Haven't shot it yet but it seems solid for the $250 I paid for it. Hoping to put some deer in the freezer with it this Fall.

I drank too much tequila and corona. That’s what I did. As I lay here feeling like a turd, I now know why I don’t do that often anymore. :coldsweat:

Sounds awesome man! I just took up wood carving two weeks ago. Kinda started whittling and then bought a gouge. Having so much fun. This is REALLY satisfying!

Reminds me of the Museum of wood carving in Shell Lake, WI. There were really a lot of big & small basswood chains, but your ball cage is better than some of the one's on display. These become heirloom pieces for the generations, keep @ it.
