96 was the last year of the 302 and that means u got the most hp/torque available outta the engine from the factory...of course aftermarket u can go crazy....add an aftermarket transmission cooler to ur e4od and u be good to go.....

Bought me a truck! My old beat to hell ranger finally bit the dust (it was nice enough to die literally right in front of a scrapyard). Did some searching and settled on this 96 f150 4x4 with 98k miles on it.

I won’t lie I’m jealous that truck looks to be ridiculously nice for the year, where I live the road salt destroys everything, my brother, father and I all had F150’s with 302s they were a solid truck, awesome snag!!!

Honestly I got this truck because none of the available small trucks were worth a damn, so the available power and torque is already way more than I am used to.

YEP!!! Long Monday indeed. I just arrived at my office ,62 miles from my house , and remembered I had taken my computer home to finish some work. Beer and Crawfish. Happy Monday friends.

Depending on your route to Orange that detour would not have been too bad, an hour or so one way. When will be passing back though Louisiana? Crawfish season is just starting to pick up.

Slightly late posting but I went trout fishing in the mountains this past weekend. Camped close enough to hear the river rapids. Unfortunately it hasn't been stocked in quite a while so fishing was slow but I still pulled 4 decent ones out of there. Good weekend overall!
