What do you want to know about the Tactisaddle?

I'd be curious to know it comes with some sort of carry bag. I think it would be cool if it could tuck inside its own pouch and then when you take it out there's still a dump pouch attached to it.

Also, it looks like it could get tangled up easy when being stored or transported. I have a tree spider traditional safety harness and it's always a tangled mess.

Thank you!

Well I figure if it’s going to be “A” beer video it won’t be very long. How long could “A” beer last?

I’m interested to see if when you put pressure on the bridge it must pull the strap lt tight so it don’t turn in to a g string.

I may see if @kyler1945 will send me his gopro. That, along with the two cams I have should give is lots of shot angles of any flossing, pinching, etc. ;)

I really don’t need to see that. I’ll just take your word for it. After all you are a published author.

Sounds like a good plan. I read the other topic but never got a chance to watch the video. I had been thinking of making something similar... Half a wraptor with a belt a belt and leg straps as previous mentioned.

Only request I have is to please wear some long shorts with it!!!

I agree most of the weight is on the bottom strap, but I don't think there is an insignificant amount of weight on the fabric. So yes, how comfortable is it really?

I take it back. I sat in my Mantis today for a practice session and the pressure felt pretty evenly distributed across both bands and I suppose also the mesh.

I think a 3-4 hour sit would suffice for a test run on the comfort side of things. Sounds like this fella is sewing them in his garage and has had some testing done on the break strength. It would be peace of mind to see those results.

I say good on @Nutterbuster for stepping up here, and also good on John for putting that video out of himself showcasing his saddle system. It takes guts to put yourself out there like that and take a risk like that. I imagine the saddle works better than most people are giving it a chance at, (myself included), and i look forward to your honest opinion. Also thanks for John for sending you one to display in fair review of the forum!

I cannot imagine sitting in that. Maybe leaning. But I look forward to the review. I guess if you don't have a saddle now you could be at the front of the line instead of waiting til October for a kestrel or mantis
I love the innovation and hope it works for the sake of the innovator.

My favorite post in this thread. I got a good laugh.

I guess my thread or review wasn’t good enough? Or the videos that were put out already? Why am I getting the sense that if a product hasn’t been reviewed by a saddle hunter “Frat Boy” it doesn’t mean squat and why Nutterbuster are you starting a new thread on the same saddle the day after I posted a review? What are you trying to gain here?

I wouldn’t take it personally. We are all for the most part gear junkies and like trying new stuff looking for the holy grail. The more reviews the better. I see a lot of value in different perspectives. I can’t speak for everyone else, but I typically like to look at more than one review before buying a product.

I agree with @Sticknstring88 here, don't take it personally! Seriously, the more people that review new gear gives everyone more perspective on how that gear may or may not work for them. A 5'8" dude weighing 160 won't like the same setup as a 5'8" guy weighing 200 lbs, let alone comparing a 6'2" guy weighing 250 lbs.
