That’s a great buck, he looks to be 5 based on his body…I would say 135”
If he had 3” more inches to his spread everyone would say 150” lol

Where the skys are so blue!
Something I've learned is it's hard to score a buck without an idea of body size. If I had that buck on my camera I'd bet on him being 110ish, because I have several bucks on my wall that are about even with their ears on width (15" inside spread) like that one. Eight pointers. They all score 100-110ish. Small osceola and virginianus subspecies. 220ish live weight.

But if that's a 275lb deer, my mind may change.

I’m not great at scoring and it may just be the picture angle, but that buck is bigger than 114” in my opinion. If he’s got 22-23” main beams and 17-18” wide like I’m thinking, he’s easily mid 120’s with that tine length.

Officially scored 114 and change.

Didn’t mean to hijack. I just think my buck is very similar to the OP‘s. His might be more narrow but similar mass and his has better tine length.

. theres no way that guy is scoring 135.

I don’t think 135”, but I have a 112” on my wall and this guy has taller tines from what I can tell. I’m a friggin noob though. I know there’s some well educated and better gentlemen/woodsmen and women on here than me!

100% agree. If the OP’s buck is 180 pounds I bet 120” is a great guess. If he’s a 275 pound Minnesota monster He would easily score over 130.

There’s a big difference between what a 3 year old will score vs a 5 year old .
