What's wrong with people?

Geeze, guess thats why we don't see more kill pics on here. Folks are more concerned with making sure deer get a nutritious, balanced breakfast than they are with sticking a rage on the cage! Lol

Lighten up folks. Everybody speeds, looks at women that ain't theirs, and has thrown a little corn out! ;)

Nah, I've never baited deer illegally. As for the other two...

I have done the others but baiting deer illegally is weak sauce

Dig a snake pit by my corn pile and see what weak sauce is.

Some folks ain't got the sense to mind they own busines.

Look it up, Enterotoxcemia. In the fall their digestive system changes because their food source changes. They can’t digest corn and it will kill them.

In Florida we use corn year round because of the lack of agriculture. I looked up that condition and I can only figure that our deer are used to corn in their diets much like deer in the Midwest around corn fields. It does sound legit though overall. Guess I learn something every day.

Two years ago I found a cam on the end of our property that gets frequent poachers. I pulled the card and left a note in a plastic bag, on the camera. The sd card had naked pictures of the guys wife / girlfriend on it. You never know where the trailcam game is gonna take you.

I have zero respect for people that willingly break game laws - and you are wrong, there are plenty of ethical hunters that dont throw corn around. It is LEGAL in TEXAS and I have yet to use corn. I also turn in four wheelers that have a habit of driving on closed areas.

If she was hot then that’s awesome!! If she was nasty then I’m sorry he put you through that!!

It’s legal to bait here in Florida on private land. We do have to maintain a feeding station for 6 months out of the year for it to be legal so it’s a pricey option. When I hunt the Midwest I sit on bean fields and cut corn fields. They both attract deer either way so it’s all baiting in my opinion. I do like hunting over acorns more because the deer seem to be more relaxed.

I'll have to check into that. We leave several acres of standing corn on several fields just for hunting. The deer go right to them when it gets cold.

As long as it's natural it's fine. They'll taper off of the corn as it depletes, and on to whatever other food sources are around. It's not that corn is bad - it's rapid transition between e.g. a corn diet and a twig diet.

I was just reading articles on it and realized that we don't hear about this as much in the south east because our winters are not so severe and that the deer have access to the corn for several months of the year. It is not a sudden influx after prolonged periods of absence. Supplemental feeding in many parts of my area is not necessary, and with the finding of CWD, is no longer legal. Food plots are OK, which is what we do on two of the larger private tracts I hunt.

Supplemental feeding isn't Necessary anywhere. Whitetails aren't exactly endangered.

Yes agreed get dnr/conservation involved. You’re not being a snitch. He’s cheating and tipping the odds his way. Get the pics to a conservation officer. Sooner the better and get him out of the woods

plus if you don't know where the bait pile is and get caught hunting close to it undenounced to you you're gonna get fixed up with some handy dandy papers saying you are to blame

Very true
Oh I’m sorry officer that’s not my bait pile.....
I know u guys don’t think someone can just say that . A lot more people would be baiting and blaming their bait on someone else that they didn’t know about

I had a few friends that are avid duckhunters and they went into a area hours away to get into the earlier "northern" season...…..along came a warden and started handing out tickets. Their only saving grace was another guy fessed up to it (in court) but they still got a ticket and went to court over the matter which it was all thrown out later but it involved time off of work to clear their name and big dollars for all of them.

I found this spot with a nice trail that parallels a field so I figured I would put a couple cameras on it. So far I've got two pictures of this guy carrying bags of corn to bait the deer which is illegal in my state, it can also kill the deer.
share the pictures!!!!lolol

the reason I asked the questions in my first post is I was in the same scenario about 15 years ago at Percy Priest WMA. I had cameras out kept getting a guy walking through, in camo, with "gear", with corn. I reported him come to find out he was a wild life photographer! lololol yep I turned his arse in! the gear was a tripod and camera pack, i thought for sure he was a poacher!

Exactly. I see more minerals than I do bait, but both are illegal here. I report all of them I find. I find a few every year scouting on public land.
