Why don't yall 2TC?

Aviation design and development.
Clue 3: materials are rubber and aluminum.

but if you tell us now, I may have a chance to try it before my test climb tomorrow
Okay...okay... so I was really waiting to make a video and show it in action but after my climb I'm convinced it's the real deal.
...

So it is rectangular edge trim for doors used on aircraft and cars, trucks etc. I found some on Amazon...which is very similar to ours...
Basically you can have 1 main peice on your rope and have extra strips of say 10" and add them on depending on the diameter of the tree. They positively will not fall off an 8mm rope and barely fit on my 11mm rope so I think 10mm will be fine.
The teeth inside keep it on, and if you don't need it anymore just pull it off.
It grips the tree great, doesn't roll off and make the tether extremely easy to move up the tree without handles! Will demonstrate in a video ASAP.

I cut the bulb off and will likely put camo tape over it to satisfy my need to be camo lol.....

So, the main section measured for a 10" tree stays on the rope and loops around the dump pouch. Then I made 2 more sections that slide right in the same dump pouch on the side and out of the way. They 'clip' on really easy if the tree is larger. Despite them not being connected it still does a great job at stiffening the tether.
Then at height they come off with minimal force.
It can't really bend as in kink. Its designed to go around tight corners!
My coming video explanation will make it clearer!
Funny thing is I'm currently designing a tool at work to cut a rectangular chunk out so after playing with it a bunch the idea came!

Understanding that climbing trees is as much for purpose (hunting) and hobby (something to occupy my time),...

I've made a few more climbs and swapped by C-IV main tether for Resc-Tech. No particular reason except that is packs neater in my saddle pouch.

I've also ditched the double foot loop webbing and gone back to the 2nd tether rope foot loop. While the double foot loop webbing is super nice and easy, I found that I end up advancing that tether over 8" less per evolution compared to taking my foot out of rope loop before advancing the tether. I also found that I was fighting with advancing the 2nd tether as I was having to draw my legs up vs. such advancing the rope.

Made 3 SRT climbs yesterday pruning trees and a 2 2TC climbs today fine tuning things. 2 weeks until opener but I may wait for 1st frost because mosquitoes are nasty this year.

Neat.

I'm guessing in a real climbing scenario you don't want it fully around the tree like that, so your tether can still bind in a fall? Maybe half way around?

Why do you need to take it off at height?
Aright, you actually don't....it was a first impression. it actually does a great job at height of moving your tether point around a bit if you want to face a different direction without grinding yr rope on the tree bark.

Uh,yea...
We're still waiting for that dang video.
Oh boy,, having an army of fans with expectations is a new experience for me! ;) I'm making it asap today. Darn, I go and make promises then my parents show up for a surprise visit from Arizona and my uncle who was supposed to go to the twin cities to pick them up asks me to! So I "lost" Fri, Sat, and yesterday in terms of hunting prep and video making!

Thanks to the encouragement of Sam and red plus a few others.i did my first 2tc hunt yesterday.loving these dudes right now.i dont think my setup is fare.i swear its cheeting.from arrow Nocken to climbing in under a minute.under 2 minutes to walk away with an arrow nocked.oh and not to mention the climbing and hanging ring of steps was effortless.way safer than other stuff i do.im not going to say how im passing limbs though.

2tc.opens up a lot of doors for presets to.just stand in a crotch or on a branch.or get some pressure treet blocks with some rope and a cloths hanger dawl so you can use Sams ternaquit conection for some public land leagle presets.logger safe

Originally I thought so, but now I like it there for easily sliding my tether around to different points prior to moving around the tree! This stuff makes it so easy to do so!
