Wood hunting saddles

I think he's been taking cooking classes???

Just kidding!
If you go to the Overwatch site you will know what I know...
He got his buddy 'overwatching' things for him.

Vendor section kinda stinks....don't even get updates/notification to my own thread......

Seasons almost over and I can't wait to get the webbing bridge on there....those Amsteel knots get on my nerves when I'm walking around. High speed low drag is the catch phrase for this year correct? .....hahahahaha

Swap bridge and I need to trim off excess leg loop webbing and it'll be set.... No real complaints and it seen some miles this season

That's weird I get notifications from this thread.

And what inside info do you have? What are you FL boys cooking up that's "high speed, low drag" ... is this new model inspired by speedo??

Inside info?.....I'm just some jerk who probably shouldn't be trusted so I have no insiders knowledge.....wait, I did hear thru the grapevine something about septic tanks and depression of the tropical variety.

I'm not affiliated to any company but if I had a choice of who to affiliate with speedo would be high on the list

I try to hype my ideas about saddle stuff to stalker hoping he will make it so I don't have to put forth any effort and I would give him permission to use my face and likeness on the website.....weird relationship... symbiotic or parasitic depending on who's point of view

If there was stuff cooked up I would wager it'll be at pine island campground in feb.....

I know camo really doesn’t matter per se…. But there’s just something about that FL hammock camo pattern that really sets it off for all us hunting the south east where palmettos, pines, cypress and oaks are your terrain and it’s green most of the year!

I’ve had an original model for several years now and I absolutely love it.

I learned to climb trees in the context of arborculture 20 years ago. A few years ago i heard about saddle hunting and was immediately intrigued. I bought a Phantom and couldn’t get over how uncomfortable it was while ascending and descending using a ddrt technique. In the tree it was ok but required that I reconfigure everything everytime I went up and down. So I bought a Wood Original looking for something that would improve my experience, and it was night and day. I absolutely love the saddle.

For me it shines for preseason tree prepping. I can hike around in it all day, climb and work in multiple trees and it breaths in the heat and humidity of the preseason. Early season I also love it for shorter sits. During the rut when i occasionally sit all day or have two long sits with a hike in between I prefer a pleated saddle, which is why I’m on the waiting list
For a deluxe!

I’ve bought a number of other accessories from Wood and have nothing but good things to say. And as all of you know who talked to stalker here on the forum, he can always be counted on for giving sound advice based on experience, he’s also just a nice guy who shows respect to everyone.

And now with aerohunter leaving the market the poor guy may never have time to hunt again. We should start a venison donation fund for him
And his family…

Donation??? Is that code for barter and still get around Lacey?

I can’t share this video to the other sites, but Madhunts adventures just reviewed our deluxe and it seems like we stacked up pretty well against the other industry titans on his spread sheet! Rated 5 on comfort and 4.9 overall. Our “cons” were weight at 2lbs and 3oz for a size 2 with lower mollies and fall rated Austrialpin cobra buckles on the leg straps. (It’s 1 lb 15oz with g hooks).

I'm leaning toward swamp N stomp for some reason..
That’s become my go to pattern personally. The additional gear loops on the back side are awesome as well for quick clicking a couple climbing sticks or bow pull up rope…

You put those same loops on the original and I rely on them for prepping presets. I hang my hand pruners and a nice Silky handsaw in their sheaths from those lower loops. They are out of my way when climbing and are perfectly accessible when I need to grab them to make a cut. If you stopped Putting them there id pay extra for
You to add them back!
