XOP Invader 2.9 lbs 12x12

I will be honest. Looks like a terrible design. Why is the post so long? Or what the hell is going on here?

But the long post with a , at least seemingly, lower button would make it a bit more like a stick, no?

The beam is 10” long so it’s not really that long. It’s just attached in the middle of the platform.

It really does look like they chose some obscure geometry for no reason at all and said, yep, lets run with that. Most design features have a reason. I would like to hear what the purpose behind some of these were.

Those slots on the front edge might be for a ultimaider. For one sticking.

That's what I'm thinking. I tried that with my mission...nope. too far off the tree and way too heavy.
if that works for people i would definitely give it a try. I probably will wait for other people to test it first. 3 lbs for a climbong platform would be great.

See @AttackMode for how to set up your Mission for no sticking.

Looks like that cutout could fit the toe of a boot.

Unless being used on a large diameter tree, button will need to be higher to keep bat wing brkt in contact with tree for heavier guys. Just like any other platform with button that low.
