Can someone who has the xop brackets please do me a huge favor and measure the length of one of the mounting bolts? The ones I found are 2 7/8" end to end including the head and are to long for this application. I think the xop post is longer front to back. The problem is, I have so much mix and match hardware around here that I want to make sure I am looking at the right bolts.
Not a big deal, if they are too long, I'll provide the right length bolts. I just want to verify, before I package up a bunch of unneeded hardware.

This is probably written somewhere and I just can't find it...
What brackets do you guys think are the best ones to use?
There are two on the XOP website ('six point' and 'climbing stick standoff', both $9.99); I could also use the ones that came with the LWs or the ones that came on the Muddy Pros.
Did anyone look into this systematically to find out which ones work best, and what's the recommendation?
Thanks guys!
Man, I can't wait to stand on this thing. Going to be like standing on a cloud compared to Ameristeps!
Been a game changer for me. I hated the ameristeps I had lol.
What did you say?????

Pay homage to the Ameristep. It was once the best option in the universe. And for me, they remain so!!!Uh oh here comes the torches and pitchforks!! Hahaha

I still have issues with them from time to time also. But the are so easy to carry in and set up it's hard to take the platform leap. With all due respect to all of you guys that jumped in and figured out the dynamics to the platform and what makes them work, I do intend to get one. The evidence for their usability is very clear now.I know lots of guys use them. Maybe I didn't give them a fair shake. I could never get them solid enough for my liking. I was happy enough with the top of my Muddy stick and two screw ins. The platform is like having a stand without the uncomfortable seat attached to it lol.
