I spent 4 days last week in my area's second shotgun hunt. I didn't get a single opportunity. So disheartening.

I am not done, but I took the weekend off to clear my head.

I feel your pain. This has been the most challenging season for myself. I even got out this morning for a couple hours before church. (Which I hardly ever do).
I have until January 2 for regular season, January 31 for a reduction area. I will continue to hit it hard!!! Never give up!!

Yeah this season has been challenging but it’s also been pretty rewarding too. I have had more deer near me while in a saddle and on public ground this year then ever before. Was able to help my son in law get his first white tail and from a sit drag! I also have been getting even better at 1 sticking which is cool too. We have till end of Feb for season here so quite a bit of time, but to be honest I very seldom make it out after New Years but who knows if may go just to go. Keep your heads up!

Getting ready to hunt a small private spot this morning. No hunting after this until maybe Sunday afternoon. I'll stick with it as long as the law allows. Still no luck, tough season. I haven't experienced no harvest in some time. Still feel blessed for the great time in the outdoors. Merry Christmas
 
Taking some much needed time off from work and hunting. Spending the holidays with family. I’ll get back at it at when we get back home. Merry Christmas folks!
 
I have a couple more hunts with saddle. January 31 for reduction zone. My reduction property has two later stands that we have to use.
