Let's say it does in fact work at eliminating your scent. Why would you want to take away a deers number one defense? Isn't it about the challenge? If there was a pill you could take to totally eliminate your smell, would you use it? Kinda takes away from the game if you ask me. And if scentlock did in fact be proven to eliminate scent it should be outlawed. Would you be proud to beat a top UFC fighter if he was handcuffed? Food for thought.
Man has always used technology when hunting... some say native Americans used wood smoke to cover scent while hunting. Is a gun technology. Is a crossbow or even a fancy long bow or any bow. Tree spurs should be banned... and WE steps and saddles.
The deer win most of the time anyway. I have seen 7 deer in 10 days and 4 hunts and have killed none - and I wear scent lok. I do not claim to be a great hunter.
When a group pushes a bush and shoots what comes out the other side... is that hunting or harvesting???
Should we shower before we hunt or is that not fair.
Scent lok is a tool that may or may not work depending on who you talk to. I use it in case it helps my poor and inexperienced hunting. I have no deer this year so I guess scent lok does not work. Or maybe there is more to hunting than scent lok. I am sure there is and I have a lot to learn.
Oh and some guys do use a pill - it is called chlorophyll to make them smell like alfalfa or at least their diapers or I mean saddles..
All said in fun... sarcastic humor to be taken lightly.
