What do you want to know about the Tactisaddle?

I know it's not, but if you only glanced at it you'd 100% think someone cut the top part off of a tree stand harness.

Why didn’t you post in the original Tactisaddle thread?

Also on 8/4 ( the day before your review) @chuckmorris posted a fair positive review of the Tactisaddle in the original thread

He even responded back with useful answers & additional pics when asked questions

He’s & the thread creator are not whining about you or anybody else piggybacking or shenanigans

@Nutterbuster, I really dont have any specific questions right now. I do want to say thank you for the self eval of your posts concerning the tactisaddle AND you reaching out to John to talk directly to him. I am looking forward to your review.

I have really enjoyed this site and 99% of the posts are positive, some of the recent ones concerning this particular saddle were not at the level of community and class I have come to expect from this site.

You have attempted, in your way, to move us back into the level class and respect we should be at, and I want to say I really appreciate your efforts.

I will patiently wait for your review, until then, @skyjacker can you pass the popcorn?

@PAhunter78, genuinely sorry to have offended you. All I wanted to do was see the saddle for myself, and use the small bit of social standing I have here to make sure it got a fair shake. I felt bad about the way the first thread got dismissed.

Obviously, I also want to grow my piddlin' youtube channel, but I don't want to do it at the expense of anyone else. I honestly don't think I had seen your review, but I just read it and I think it's good.

As far as the original topic of this thread, I did see one post from last night asking what exactly was customized. John asked for my waist size, and what length bridge I ran. There are 3 default options to choose from on the site, but he said he could do whatever folks asked for. I will honestly probably run my own bridge/tether combo, but I'm curious to see the stock bridge.

To my knowledge, waist size and bridge length are the two customized options. I like that more than I like the "size1, size2" option, or "small, medium, large" option. I was very interested in Boswell's old thread asking for peoples butt size for aerohunter.
 
Wow, that was among the strangest turn of events I've seen in my days here. As an actual once upon a time fraternity man I am not sure whether I should be offended or not. Scratch that, I don't think I've ever been offended in my life.

This place does get cliquish for sure, but it is way off the reservation to lay sole claim to reviewing a product.

I saw the “customizable options”. What I’m getting at is I want to know what they actually are in practice. As in, what changes? Obviously bridge length is easy to figure out. But what changes with waist size changes? I know you don’t know these things now, I’m making sure we get these types of questions answered as you knock the new off that kini.

Just curious, have you seen how many individual reviews and opinions there are on the kestrel, or predator, or mantis, or any other product discussed on this site?
I see from your other post you have a mantis and made a wraptor--minus what looks like the spreader straps like an anderson. I'm curious when you got your Mantis? How many hours do you have in it? HAve you done an all day sit? Have you done the same with the tactisaddle? Have you owned any other saddles, sat in a leather trophyline to compare comfort to, or a kestrel? Hard to believe you're comparing the tactisaddle comfort to just the mantis...which many find pretty uncomfortable.

I"m not trying to voir dire you to death....but... in order for me personally to value an opinion I need the review to be more than an "unboxing" with initial thoughts and less than a few 6 hour hunts in with it. As I stated before, there are members on here whom have owned sat in, and HUNTED out of every saddle ever available, and can make good parallels and differentiations between the different saddles.

Making a youtube video doesn't make someone an expert. People can say whatever they want to in a video or online. I trust people's opinions with a track record I can validate their opinion against.

*edit: I want to make it absolutely clear that I am in no way trying to speak down to you, or discount your opinion. I would just love some more details so I can value your opinion.

I never laid sole claim to any thread nor did I ever want that to be the case. It’s just real shady that people bash a product because it wasn’t put on here first...reviewed by a “Frat boy” here first then when someone outside of the “Frat” comes a long with a legit review now all of a sudden it has to be done by and reviewed by the “Frat” because they are the real true natural born saddle hunters. Brother, all I do is read. This forum, a few others, whatever book I'm on at the moment, texts from buddies, the backs of cereal boxes...not to mention 99% of my job is reading and writing.

I apologize for stepping on toes, and for not remembering/differentiating your thread from the other dialogue focused on the tactisaddle.

Dude you are going to get me banded from this site. I’m worried about you. I’m not sure what your obsession with Nutterbuster is. It’s kinda creepy.
It’s not shady for people to give a opinion out in the sun about a saddle off of that horrible sales pitch video.
The video posted in this thread is better, very much improved over the initial video I saw.
Your review was regurgitated right out of the video not sure if you should put a Plagiarism disclaimer in there. We still have learned nothing new about this saddle.
Because you are so new I think having some one that has been in a saddle before will answer some questions we have.
You are literally turning me off on this saddle because your attitude.
