Factory airbag suspension for your 2-3 times a year of heavy hauling would be nice. You can find used ones for $25k give or take. Then look into extended warranty...
Yep Ram was the last one to drop the manual option. For several years though the higher HP an TQ option required a automatic transmission which is complete opposite of how 12V an 24V trucks were optioned you had to get a manual for higher HP an TQ.I’m far from my high school years and my truck is all stock. I wasn’t aware they dropped the g56 in 19 as I bought mine in 17
This is upsetting .....

There’s a bunch of people your age that can’t drive a stick. We’ve even got truck drivers with cdl’s that can’t drive them. It’s just what the world is going to.Yeah I’m not happy about this at all
Our grandkids will look at a manual transmission vehicle and not know what it is or how it works
Everything is becoming way too easy

I kinda like that my wife can’t drive a standard cause that means she leaves my toys alone haha.

I could drive from Florida to Tennessee and not use the clutch except for stop lights and unexpected traffic in my 7.3 truck.... Float shift with a diesel is so easy..... Almost just like an auto... But unlike an auto with the high compression of the diesel you can use the transmission instead of your brakes 50% of the time....a down shift slows you down quickI'm 37 an alot of people I know my age have not learned to drive a manual transmission. I agree that it is good to learn to drive one. I just don't agree they are a better option in a diesel pickup. I can use a stand alone controller an make my auto in to a manual shifted transmission. You can not take a manual transmission an make it shift like an auto.
The other Fummins I had with the dual disk it was faster to not use the clutch while shifting gears. Ever manual I have driven if at the correct Rpm you can shift without using the clutch. Manual transmissions in heavy duty trucks are non synchro transmissions an you only use the clutch to start an stop.I could drive from Florida to Tennessee and not use the clutch except for stop lights and unexpected traffic in my 7.3 truck....
