This is going to sound crazy but stay with me here... butter coffee. I have had some friends dieting that have said that coffee with some butter in it helps to stop feelings of hunger throughout the day and they swear by it. I've never tried it so I recommend this with caution, but my buddy swears by it and says he feels less hungry throughout the day when he does it. I figure if that's the case, it should allow you to bring less food in with you when you go out.
Actually, in the high fat low carbohydrate world we call that bullet proof coffee. I have no idea where or how the name arrived, but the purists use ghee, not just regular butter. It Hass to be mixed very very well, or otherwise it has a funky texture. Gher is clarified butter. If you put butter in a pot and melt it, and then remove all of the solids that float to the top, what you have left is ghee.
Ghee Is essentially pure fat. The type of fat that it is is called a medium chain triglycerides. For short recall and MCT. It is a fat that burns fat. Coconut oil is another MCT. Some people will also mix in coconut oil with their ghee in there coffee.
Semper Fi,
