If I was a betting man I would say the beast stand has found a home and 1.0 is for sale!! The only thing the 1.0 has over the beast is the locking seat IMO.
Is the V on the 1.0 bigger the the .5?
Hopefully someone will figure out a way to mod that seat on the beast. If I was a betting man I would say the beast stand has found a home and 1.0 is for sale!! The only thing the 1.0 has over the beast is the locking seat IMO.
I just added 2 HD bungees on each side of the seat with 5 sticks and rod and hooked back to the stand works good holds the seat to the sticksHopefully someone will figure out a way to mod that seat on the beast.
No I just put them on for extra safety if I was thinking about carrying heavy loads. So 650$ And u still have to use 2$ bungees?

What are u hauling out?The LWCG .5 just has two little alum tabs for the seat to lock time will tell how long they last with heavy loads!
J hooks are a good tool for sure. Simple and effective . Stick stacking on lwcg is hard to beat IMO. Haven’t seen anything come close to the profile and simplicity with just using the cam strapI might be be using 2 jhooks with my LWCG compacts or new 20” doubles. Those beast and mini beasts don’t pack very streamlined lots of bulk. Both the LWCG options have more foot room. As much as I like my mini beasts packing and climbing with bulky boots is not their strength.
So ur using them as a backup device? To if the beast sticks shelf idea won’t hold? I’m confused on what the bungees purpose is.No I just put them on for extra safety if I was thinking about carrying heavy loads.
I just put them on because I had them they are not needed for the sticks but if I was thinking of carrying a deer out it would help hold the seat under the sticks for more stability and support. So ur using them as a backup device? If the threaded stick shelf is strong then yea I’d say it’s overkill if it’s flimsy then bungees might help a little but I’d prob come up with a more static support systemI just put them on because I had them they are not needed for the sticks but if I was thinking of carrying a deer out it would help hold the seat under the sticks for more stability and support.
Elk in Ky are heavy!!!What are u hauling out?
Treestand would not be my preferred method of meat hauling I figure if u can afford a beast stand u can afford a haul pack hahahaElk in Ky are heavy!!!
May not be my preferred method either but half the deer or at least a 1/3 of the deer and head is coming out with me on the beast stand on my way back to the truck to grab my F1 mainframe. If you are a 1/4 mile from the truck not a huge deal to walk back and get pack. But if you are 3 miles deep part of the deer is going with me so I only have to make one more trip.Treestand would not be my preferred method of meat hauling I figure if u can afford a beast stand u can afford a haul pack hahaha
To be quite honest…. I don’t really care for the frame lock on the LWCG stands. Only thing it does is limit the seat height on the .5 and help stand the stand up on the ground so It’s easier to grab and go.
