Saw that. Got me excited... What a let down
I have been doing it for years not that difficult. I pull my stand up the my backpack then my bow, it's easyHe's already sold out of those grabbers. Can you imagine climbing 25 feet up and then not being able to hook your bow?? I can't...

For out west, a quality pack is priceless. But for deer hunting I will never pay over 100$ for a pack. My badlands pack I got 50% off for 60 bucks does absolutely every thing I need it to. I have no idea what people are lugging around that it needs all that extra stuff designed for western hunting.
Agreed. On MN public land I'm never double-digit miles from my truck. I've been entirely satisfied with simple rucksacks, medium ALICE packs, and Walmart hunting packs. I do like an internal frame and waist belt - seems to flop around less that way - and a drawstring closure with top flap to avoid zipper noise. Granted this will be my first year carrying a platform, but that doesn't seem like a problem that requires me to spend a used car payment to solve. For out west, a quality pack is priceless. Same. All my ropes went into my cargo pockets. Wore the harness in. Grunt tube and rangefinder in pockets. Jacket and midlayer strapped to the beast stand. Bow in left hand. Go hunting. I guarantee I'm in the top 5% of people who travel the farthest to their stand sites, and I did it no problem. I sometimes wonder if people are going camping or huntingPeople with their packs is insane. They will take an 8lb frame pack to carry 6lbs of sticks. Been there done that….lol
Take less crap with you. If it doesn’t fit in your pockets. Leave it home. Last year I went packless for most of the year. It was great.
