Recieved some of the items I bought on the Big Flash Sale. Quality pieces. All around better than FL and Sitka IMO. Both to my door for $98 seemed like a no brainer to try out.

Where’s the pnuma made? I haven’t tried any yet except the heated vest.

Prepped this tree in the rain. Hoping it slows down by this evening. There's a good one exiting the marsh here.

Inline with my current hobby of trying to make things smaller and lighter, I took my old dyneema webbing tree straps (old tree straps for my hammock) and sewed them into foot loops. There's no particular reason why as it's not like the 1" webbing is heavy or bulky but the (2) straps are much lighter (less than 1oz. for the pair) and packs down to less than 1/2 the size.

I opened a package from EWO :grinning:
Installed the One Stick Hook, tied a double fisherman's knot loop with some cordage, and played around with the Kong Duck. I'm definitely going to have to switch my lineman's over to the duck vs. my prussic for ease of adjustment, even with my prussic tender.

I’ve been doing some maintenance and still tweaking. Cut about 3-4’ off my rope since I’ve already flipped it once. Retied my oval and made another set of tether handles. I like the new ones better, but will have to use something stiffer to get the spacing right……I have a few broken arrows I’ll try next.
I’ve had a few sits over the last week, and My one sticking is I getting smoother and quieter. I got rid of the ropeman and am using this knot, but I can’t remember what it is. It tenders amazing and I could rappel on it if necessary…..still using the ATC. I switched to this to replace my prussik backup, but then just started using it to get rid of some heavy loud metal.

oh yeah I almost forgot, I GOT AN EBIKE!!!! Holy crap! Go ahead and hate, but I am having more fun than a grown man should be allowed! I’ve been looking at these(and drooling) for 3 years and finally plunged. I cannot even begin to say how awesome it is! And honestly, mine is a cheap Chinese piece of junk that I will beat to death! But WOW, ITS WORKING!

I love my perch but hated tying the knot with the platform on the stepp. Switched to a cam buckle with a hook and wow should have made that switch last yr! Also works amazing with 3 Bullman steps around the tree as well

One of my OCD annoyances is organization. Having both my tether and linemans belt in the same pouch meant that they’d get jumbled around and would sometimes pull both out if I only wanted my tether.

Found these velcro straps at the hardware store. They were about 8” too long so I cut the down and resewed them.

Bought a sitka Stratus pant, hopefully done buying Sitka clothes. Found them 30% off so I haven’t paid full price for any of my Sitka stuff.
Gonna do some practice climbs this afternoon with the .5 and see how it goes.

about to put wraps on 13 arrows....and then fletch them after that at some point.....i space my arrow building over several days so that i stay focused and don't make little errors....i'm also slightly ocd about all my arrows looking nice and uniform

The guy at my bow shop lines up the fletching so the arrow name and what not sticks out 90 degrees from the bow. Pretty neat

i remove the arrow name with acetone on a rag and then use a spine tester to make the arrow naturally bend the same way each bow power stroke

i put weak side down because an arrow will naturally bend along the path of least resistance
