Beast sticks aren't any cheaper on shipping even unassembled
Timber ninja wanted $45 to ship me 1 stick.
Still, that's a stick. Not a tiny roll of Stealth Strips.
But...as per my midday post today...it's clear I agree. TN has an outrageous and unacceptable shipping policy as does Tethrd, in this instance.
Kudos to folks like Real Deal Amsteel who can ship a one stick for $6.00
Nope. For 4 sticksView attachment 77146View attachment 77147
Pin update. I did hit all 4 pins with sand paper and Vaseline. They now seem to slide together OK. I am figuring out how to stack in the dark and pull apart without busting my knuckles. I do like these sticks, super light and grip the tree surprisingly well.
That would cost them extra in labor.
EWO used to have flat rate shipping but seems to have changed. I wonder what it took for them to come around on that.
I carry 5, horizontally in the meat shelf of either StrykerXL or PU28. They don’t stick out beyond me but I’m a 40” waistEveryone carrying 3 or 4 of these, are you placing them horizontally as a group on the back of your pack and then attaching with bungees or similar? If done like this, do they stick out enough on each side to grab brush? My current system is fully contained in my pack and that is hard to beat.

Yikes.
I'd think horizontal, or in pairs on the side of the pack would be better than that.

They pack well vertically on all packs I’ve tried them on. I generally pack in singles, but run them stacked on my Predator. In my opinion packability is their biggest strength.

They also show video of them sewing the saddles on their current website like they are right here in the US just sewing away daily. It’s just marketing. It’s easy to have one or two pallets for a promo video.I don’t think so. They have posted pictures of them physically pulling the sticks off pallets and shipping them.
The shipping is absurd. Having to split orders is even further frustrating.
Remember when shipping on saddles and platforms was free?
the seller does this to sell item at cheaper price but then makes it up in shipping. This way they owe less to eBay as a seller since it’s considered shipping and handling. This reminds me of when you find a killer deal on ebay and add to cart and realize they are charging you $100 shipping and handling and hoping you don't notice.
Pretty handy how you have them on your saddle.
