Tethrd One Stick Gen 3's - Season review so far

I busted up my fingers 2X taking the sticks apart in the woods. I also struggled each time I had to assemble after evening sits, not easy to align in the dark....not a fan of the pins. The pins are the biggest con of these sticks.

$50 for three? They that much better than the pins?

I thought you were one sticking or I would have sent you some Double Claws to try with your last order. If you want to give them a go I’ll ship you a couple tomorrow. I believe you’ll find them better than the stock pins.

Depends on how I feel. Been taking the tethrd sticks.

I guess I've never had an issue with the pins. Found assembly pretty straight forwards and dis-assembly(after a fair bit of practice) pretty smooth in operation. I will say that after a season of use, it got much easier.

Question for guys running these, after you wrap your rope around the tree and tie off with an X in the bracket do you tie a knot in the slack thats left?

I don’t. I usually wrap the tail around the tree one more time if I have the length and then just tuck it in behind the tight part of the rope and tree to keep it from blowing.

What kind of fixed Aiders are you guys using with these? Does anyone make a cable aider for them?
