New Gear for 2023, Go!

Supposed to change belts every 5 years.

I have one of their climbers that I cut the base down for a saddle setup and another complete Sit and Climb (I don't use.) It's good to be able to source the belts.

But I think I may end up buying the Crossover Climber when it is released. I wonder when that will happen.
This is their reply.

250 for that dinky little thing. SMH

Agree! Plenty of non-hunting backpacks that work really well.

I was thinking this. Make it camo and from a hunting brand and it is twice as much money. It's also twice the weight usually due to the really thick fabric and many more pockets. I'll take the pockets and MOLLE loops and such, but I don't need super thick material in a daypack that I'll never carry more than 30 lbs in and will never use to pack out an animal.

Also the the XOP Striker pack is pretty nice for $70. Can’t see myself spending several hundred dollars on a pack unless I ever go out west and buy a good pack for elk hunting.

I will be buying very little if anything
I revamped a lot in the last two years
Hunting Wardrobe, Saddle, Platform, Sticks, Bow
I'm done lol Only thing I would most likely buy now is a tight spot quiver for my new bow
My older type quiver is butt.
My list of my equipment is
Either wolf pack or striker pack
The fix platform
beast Mini's or lwcg double steps
I have a .5 and double-steps for the long day rut sits as my hybrid setup but, I rarely use it maybe 5-6 hunts a year in middle of the rut.
The fix platform and Beast minis with cable aiders is my go to setup 13 lbs. with kneepads And pack full of necessities.
The platform and kneepads fit perfectly into my xop striker pack.
this setup is great for me for scouting until I find where to hunt.
Cabela's clothes I love especially the strata pattern because it matches almost year round in my areas I hunt.
rarely it gets very cold around here to need like sub arctic type gear. Merino wool undies and a mid layer with a coat and bibs is perfect for me

Interesting. Bosun seat hybrid.

The price of the hybrid is ridiculous! Wait, here’s a less useful and comfortable version for 400.00!

A rock climbing harness and a piece of plywood and amsteel will cost ya about 89.00…
