I don't know or care what it takes to launch a website. I do look forward to the platform not being good enough though :tearsofjoy:

Which expo is this launch happening at? They're not on the only list I've seen for the one in Kzoo, which is also not on that website...

Platform looks tiny. I will stick with the fix. If the sticks are 1lb or less I will look at them.

If their website building skills were as good as their photography skills, I'd probably sending money their way right now.

Weird situation. They're way late to the game if they are just now teasing products. Most serious hunters I know have their kit all ready and tested by August.

I did something really weird. I didn’t change a thing since last year and somehow, my kit is ready to go already. It’s the strangest thing. I checked the bolts on my full length beast sticks and checked my ropes and hardware (Kong duck). Even my backpack and platform were the same. Arrows are the same. Bow is the same. Something must be going on.

Definitely not a serious hunter… Mostly because you are using the same arrows from last season.
If you were a serious hunter you would need new arrows after all the deer you “WOULD” have killed last season .;):p

Lol.

I was in on the Vector MD3 broadhead pre-order last year and they missed their delivery date by months after several delays. Nobody even got them until the Mid-December. When I started to worry they wouldn't make it in time for the season, Oct1 here, I bought SEVR 1.5" mechanicals. Glad I did...

I sent an email to Vector (now Method) in early October asking for status on my order and they responded quickly, explaining the cause for repeated delays and offering me their VBS broadhead in the meantime. I politely declined the generous offer and sent them a picture of the blood covered Vector arrow with Sevr broadhead I had already used to tag out for the season.

Vector never even responded with a congratulations. lol.

Anyway, I suppose the MD3 is new gear for this year. I'd give a review, but I'm sticking with the SEVR 1.5 setup awhile. I can say the MD3 is NOT the advertised 1.25" cutting diameter.

Sevr are probably the best mechanical on the market. I have some but mostly use tuffhead evolution with the bleeders since I do a lot of ground hunting when I am on trips. Don't want a early deploy. The deer I have shot with sevrs didn't make it very far bled like a stuck pig.

We're in a similar spot. Other than some fresh rope and tweaking aiders, see post #2,185 in this thread for the most dramatic new gear purchase I made for this season

FYI Superior fleece got their hands on some scrap Kuiu Windpro fleece fabric and is making hoodies with it. I picked up one and it's nice. Going to add a zipper, thumbholes and maybe a handpocket. They're not taking any orders until early fall right now, so it might be a moot point.
Do we like fleece? I thought I saw somewhere that fleece isn’t actually good for warmth? Maybe I read something wrong.

I like fleece. Fleece is a good mid layer or early season outer layer. It is not windproof but it is breathable and drys quickly making it a great layer to have. You can alway add other types of layers to fight wind, that’s not fleece’s job.

I like to walk to my stand in a base layer and a micro fleece when it gets colder because if I do work up a sweat I can usually dry off before layering up at the tree.

My favorite fleece is now Polartec Alpha..lightweight, warm, and dries super fast. It's an excellent mid layer.
