    One Sticking with Resc Tech

I thought adding the additional wrap would fix the issue as well. Did you find that one works better than the other? Or did they operate about the same?

    One Sticking with Resc Tech

Looks very similar to my setup. I have a quick link tied by a scaffold knot, michoacan above main bridge, atc attached to secondary amsteel bridge and an autoblock attached to my lineman's loop.

    One Sticking with Resc Tech

I'll definitely give the schwabisch hitch a try. I also use an ATC below my hitch for rappel.

    One Sticking with Resc Tech

I'll play around with the Schwabisch or Distel hitch as well as shortening the loops. If that doesn't work, I may have to look at moving to a higher diameter rope. Thanks for the help!

    One Sticking with Resc Tech

I started with Michoacan because I read that it gripped like the other hitches but was a little easier to break when adjusting. I have a Kong Duck that I may begin using, but I was trying to find some hitch cord that would just in case there was any type of fall. Didn't want the mechanical to...

    One Sticking with Resc Tech

I would say that mine falls into the 4-5 inches of slack as well. I usually push the hitch as far as I can then lean back until it looks like it has gripped. It typically acts like it has a grip on the rope and then starts slipping once I fully load it with my bodyweight. I'm 230 lbs so I don't...

    One Sticking with Resc Tech

I went from 5 wraps to 6 wraps without much help. I figured after 6 wraps that I should begin looking for different options whether that was a different knot or hitch cord.

    One Sticking with Resc Tech

I have been trying one sticking with 8 mm Resc Tech, and I'm having a hard time getting my hitch cord to grab. Every time that I get to a transition, and I attempt to load the hitch so that I can grab my one stick, it begins to slip and have to fight it to get it to grab. For you one stickers...

    Upgrading Bow Stabilizer

I've been looking at the Bee Stinger, TAP and also the Crossover 821. I like the idea of being able to adjust the Crossover to find the length that works best for me, but I'm definitely thinking about something in the 8" - 10" range. I feel like anything longer will make walking through the...

    Upgrading Bow Stabilizer

Great point as the stabilizer would only add length when at draw. Movement around the tree should be a non issue. My typical shot is within the 30 yards, but I would just like to tighten my group out to 40-45. My groups are fairly tight from 20-30 yards, but the pin begins to wander when I...

    Upgrading Bow Stabilizer

I'm looking at upgrading my bow stabilizer and would like to add a little length to help steady the bow, but don't want to make it difficult on myself when trying to maneuver from one side of the tree to the other. What is everyone's stabilizer setups?

1/8" Amsteel Full Bury with Cam Cleat

Same here. As far as the cam cleats go, I'm looking at the Harken 150 as well. I would rather fall into the middle of the spec range than the bottom which is where the Schaefer would have put me.

1/8" Amsteel Full Bury with Cam Cleat

That's exactly where I am. Just received my 1/8" full bury then the news of the sail cleat failure broke. I'm torn between trying the aluminum sail cleat that is within spec or going with the Harken 150.

1/8" Amsteel Full Bury with Cam Cleat

How does the 1/8" Amsteel Full Bury work with the Schaefer Cam Cleat? It seems that it may be just out of spec.

Tethrd Predator xl vs trophyline mission

I have the Trophyline Mission and it is solid. I'm 6'0" 250 lbs and once locked on, it doesn't move. As mentioned earlier, you may also want to look at Trophyline's new EDP platform. Same concept as the Mission only smaller in size. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

    Updated Sh1kar

After thinking about it a little more, I think that I am going to send mine in as well. I can only see you gaining the added stability by doing so. I may also get him to add the additional hole just in case I remove the clam cleat and go with the schaefer cam cleat.

    Updated Sh1kar

Has anyone who purchased one of the first Sh1kars sent it back to have it modified? I'm curious as to whether it made a big difference or not. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk

SRT Climbing using a Guide ATC

Just bought a Black Diamond Guide ATC. Looking to practice with it this off-season. I'm using Resc Tech rope with the ATC backed up with an autoblock.
