Why saddle hunting will never thrive

As someone that has been trying to enter the saddle hunting community for some time I think I realize that saddle hunting will never be what it could be. The main reason being that in today’s world if I want it I want it now. It’s sad to say but it’s crazy that I have to wait a month or more for...

    Tactisaddle update

Ordered a tactisaddle on 9/4/19. Went with this saddle for a couple reasons. First and foremost was the claimed turnaround shipping time. It claimed to be 14 days roughly. That and the decent reviews. Just wanted everyone to know that on 9/18/19 I received a shipping notice with tracking number...

Platform or steps for trad bow?

For those of you that shoot traditional bows what is your preference? I shoot a 60” centaur longbow instinctive and cant the bow some. Really like the idea of the ring of steps but was thinking that the extra distance from the tree with a platform would help with clearance on certain shots.

Just got a rollnlock to use on some ultra tech for a linesman belt. I have an oval auto locking caribiner that works but would like to find a good non locking caribiner that fits it. So far though I’m loving the rollnlock but don’t have experience with any other ascenders.

    Squirrel steps

Been away for awhile due to family and hunting but just saw the squirrel steps that can be used for ros. How do they compare to the other ros options. I am really interested in these due to how packable they are.

    Pack options

New to this and just getting started. What are your recommendations for a light weight backpack to carry a single muddy stick and a tethrd platform and a few other essentials? I have a badlands 2200 pack but looking for something lightweight for early season.

I’ve have been lurking on here for awhile taking in a ton a great information. I primarily hunt on New Jersey public land and have been using a mobile run and gun technique for years. The last several I have been using a lone wolf stand and sticks but the bulk and weight especially when hunting...
