    Has anyone just cut the strap bridge off and just used a rope bridge hooked into the lineman hoops? That’s strap sucks. I tried my method and it seems to work fine. I’m just wondering if anyone else has done it? Also... I’m using the HSS rope lines. One for my tree tether and one for my bridge...

    I’m pretty sure it’s static. I could be wrong though. It does stretch but ya gotta remember too that the tree is probably 26-30” round. Any rope will stretch I’d think. Ill give it some time and see what happens. Once it set tho that stick was rock solid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Finally got around to doing the rope mod on my sticks. I’m not sure why I waited so long!!!! I didn’t measure the tree but it’s a decent size walnut tree. My finished rope is 8’ long and the stick is solid!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    My dad just finished this up. It turned out nice I think. Cut a piece of 220 sandpaper and stick in the the wedged end. He wedged it so it doesn’t move around. The white “v” piece slides and is removable. It’s built like a tank haha. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Your idea does sound good though. The only thing I can think of is it would take a good bit of tinkering to get it to fit and then you have to worry about how tight the pieces fit together. Anything loose will make noise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
