    Saddle Design and Comfort.

I've seen your build. It definitely solves the hip pinch. I know I'm not going to eliminate it with a soft saddle. I was rather looking for similarities of the bridge loops length and comfort. Kyler1945 said what I was kind of thinking about loop length. More of a confirmation instead of...

    Saddle Design and Comfort.

This is what I was thinking. The one I built with longer loops made the bridge extremely short. I am guessing that the extra height I made the 2nd Kestrel aided in my comfort.

    Saddle Design and Comfort.

I've made several DIY saddles. The Kestrel Clone, Kestrel Clone 2" taller and longer bridge loops, and a wraptor. The Kestrel that I made larger was more comfortable for me than the original I made following the sizing in the original thread. I just felt the bridge loops were way too long. I'm...

Whats everyone using on aider steps

Had an extra vinyl door sweep. Cut with scissors to width and length I wanted to fit in tubular webbing. It's flexible enough to bend in half without breaking and always keeps the aider open.

Free sewing machines to those in need.

I have 2 sewing machines I would give to whomever needs them. They will both need a motor and bracket. I haven't gone through them but I'm sure they will need some TLC. One is an old singer and the other is a raico de luxe. I reconditioned my grandmother's singer and bought a treadle table...

Doing with less or how to pack (probably both)

Last hunt I packed differently. Got my turkey vest. What do they say? Dare I? Gamech....... I definitely had some redundant things. Thanks for pointing that out. It's a big improvement on the weight load. 3 army surplus sustainment pouches attached to the saddle for tons of room for...

Doing with less or how to pack (probably both)

Started srt this year. I am finding out that I need presets for this. Just one sticking allows me to leave the hand ascender zing it and throw bag at home. I just switched from a lifeguard to a safeguard. I can probably do away with the ropeman now and use the safeguard while hunting as well...

Doing with less or how to pack (probably both)

This site has led me to make several diy saddles and a diy jx3. The problem I find is still, using a saddle I try to minimize but can't pack well. I've used dump pouches, sustainment pouches, trench tool pouches, and even a small backpack. I overweight the saddle with pouches. I add suspenders...

    The Wrap2R

Stuff came in I decided to wait, err the sweetcorn said it was ready and needed to be bagged..... Now hopefully to a tan version

    The Wrap2R

Gonna have a go at this build! Or maybe a version of it! I just need to decide to wait for the tan webbing to come in or use my black webbing with coyote brown mesh? Life's decisions! Why does it have to be so tough?

    New Method Saddle and SRT

Just got my hand ascender yesterday. I'm going to attempt SRT this year. The Method saddle has gotten my attention. I skimmed the 35 minute video review. For those experienced in SRT climbing, do you think there would be any problems using this new saddle?

    DIY Deer Cart

Used child bicycle trailer 30-40 dollars. Jet sled on sale for 30 bucks. 1 stick 3/4 conduit under 5 dollars. Bicycle kid trailers come with handles and a front wheel to use as a stroller as well. I think this is the best of both worlds because i can use the sled to pull the deer through the...

Guessing this is Illinois? If so, I'm 1.2 hours south of Chicago and would possibly be interested in attending.

Thinking of future tweaks to my DIY saddle and DIY JX3

I was thinking about adding an amsteel whoopie sling bridge. What don't you like about it? I came across the wraptor thread and now want to try that too

    Pouches

I got a couple of those as well. Just thought they were too small for my ropes
