    Packable down jacket

Eddie bauer..sign up for their rewards card and watch for the sales on the 800 series down jackets. Weigh nothing and are super nice for the price. Just bought one during the veterans day sale for 50% off. EB is like JC Penny, always a sale going on. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Hawk Helium Stick For 1 Stick Climbing?

I'm 6'2, weigh 230ish, wear a 13 in boots and had absolutely no troubles with my Heliums last season. Used the top stick as a platform for the first several hunts until my RR arrived with no issues as well. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Talk me out of a diesel or help me pick!

Cant believe a 6.4 hemi hasn't been mentioned! Aftrr having multiple HD diesels and all the troubles associated with all of them I bought a 2015 2500 Ram a few years ago with the 6.4 Hemi. As for its towing ability, we have a 40ft 5th wheel that loaded scales a touch over 15,000 pounds thats...

    Utility Knife for field dressing/skinning?

Field dressed a doe this week with a utility knife....with through the ribs no prob. Overall worked well enough for field dressing ut didn't care for it when skinning. You really need a rounded point for that. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

    New to platforms

Recieved my RR a last week and have used it as is on the last 6 hunts. Great platform thats "sticky" as all get out! I've been putting it in my daypack and hauling it in but thought about a cover too. I've not had any trouble with the rough texture chewing up any of my ropes or clothing that...

What Are You Wearing? Best Winter Clothes For Saddle?

The sanctuary set would be ideal for short walks in cold weather. You would have to leave the leg zips open all the way to keep from sweating. I'm very picky about clothes when spending 250 bucks on a piece and then having to baby it in brush on even short walks to the stand. The fabric isn't...

    Ridge Runner

I was really tore between the RR and the Predator. Ultimately it came down to my size 13 boots and what worked the best for large feet. The clear winner was the RR with more real estate in the platform. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

What Are You Wearing? Best Winter Clothes For Saddle?

Picked up a set of Sanctuarys last winter and was impressed with the warmth but not the packability or durability of the outer fabric. This year I've gone to Sitka for outer layers and minus 33 for base layers. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
