Happens a lot. I think we miss a lot when we're lookin to far around. I always bring one with me and throw it every 10 15 min so my eye stays sharp for spotting them. Wife found another today. I havent found any in almost 20 miles hiked.

Not necessarily. They don't always get bigger. I have 1st hand experience several times with a sheds we found and then find the following year's shed, or dead head, or we killed him.
And if its a buck at, or past prime, he may actually get smaller.

Alright. Sure you can look at in a total bummer kinda way too i guess....debbie.

I mean yea i get it, bucks dont get bigger every year until they die, well around me they do cuz no one lets them live past 2...but theres a good chance if that thing is even 4 or 5 yrs old and healthy its gonna have a nice rack next yr.

I saw him from the stand one time this year, had a huge body, deer don’t get that big in this area very often...It’ll be interesting to see pictures of him this summer if he stays around the area.
 
What specific area. Maybe coordinates too...
