So we had our monthly meeting at the club today and we are good to go. I have all the paper products and silverware already. I'll be making baked beans, amd can do grill foods if thats what we decide. If you plan on coming out Friday, or staying Saturday night please leave me a PM or text me @ 7244629802, my name is Ryan, so i can make sure theres plenty of space in the bunk house. You could also set up a tent or hammock if you wish. We will have easy access to water, bathrooms and electricty. There are a few bag targets there, but im going to bring my own so we have some more. If anybody wants to volunteer to bring more it could be helpful. We do have a 3d course, but i havent had time to shoot it this summer, not real sure on its condition, but ill try to get out there and trim it up before then if i can. It's 5$ a person to shoot the course. Feel free to bring a rod a reel and fish if you like too. Im also going to try and find a good close to the pavilion spot to clear any under growth for climbing, but we will have no shortage of trees thats for sure. Any questions or concerns feel free to contact me. Looking foward to meeting everyone, learning, and trying out some new gear.

I can bring a bag target and a smaller foam target.

What time are things starting on Sat, Aug 22? Is there any type of agenda or is it freestyle?

Let's call it an 8a start! Its gonna be freestyle, no agenda type deal, as this gets established a bit more, we can have more structure to it! If any one has any ideas let us know and we can make plans for the future meets!

Alright folks, I've been reluctant to push this thinking we would get screwed back into yellow phase or something. That said were roughly 2 weeks out now! It's still a go as of now!
What I would like to know:
What's your expectations for a meet?
What are your ideas to make this interesting for everyone?
Planning is not fun or easy nowadays, sorry for the lack of discussion with this, times have been crazy lately with the new baby, work and you know the whole matoba virus lol...

I am just looking for knowledge from people that know what they are doing, and to practice shooting from my saddle. I am completely fresh to this thing as well and am really excited to see what everyone else is doing/learn how to saddle hunt safely.

Will trophyline be bringing any of their nifty vintage line kneepads?

Hows the food situation? DO we need to bring more?

I have not confirmed what trophyline will be bringing at this point, rest assured they'll have some great gear go have is try..

As far as food, we have nothing locked on, so cook up something and bring it if you wish, we expect to have 20-25 folks attend. It could be as simple as hotdogs and hamburgers or you can bring game meats or what ever....

If there is no objections, ill try and prep a tree close to the yard with a 24 ft ladder stick. Climb up, set a platform of your choosing and shoot. Might make it a little easier for guys wishing to just shoot and not use a climbing method everytime. I'll even throw a hual up line and some sort of quiver to attach to it. One guy shoot another pull arrows.

Trophyline is requesting 2-3 trees that they can setup but only needs to be a couple feet off the ground

I’m gonna bring a big cooler with some water in it for everyone. If Anyone needs to keep anything else in it to keep cool I don’t mind.

I'll have a big cooler or two as well. Plus there is a large sliding door fridge right under the pavilion.

Also the place if very family friendly. There is a small lake for fishing like 50 yards from the pavilion, and two playsets for kids right next to it. So feel free to bring the family if you wish.

I'm curious if anyone else is bringing kids? There is a chance I might make it up for this and was thinking about bringing my 11 yr. old son. He will likely spend most of his time at the pond but, fishing is usually more fun when he's got another kid to hang out with.
