2024 Gear thread

It also does ballistics for bullets too. It is super compact and easy to set up. Those two features alone make it worth it to shop owners or people who shoot a lot or develop custom loads or arrows. Instead of having to set up the Caldwell on the tripod and get it all out of the bag, you pull this thing out, turn it on and shoot over it and you're done. If you only shoot once or twice here and there, this is overkill. But if you are constantly testing new arrows or bullets. This is way nicer than the Caldwell or Magneto Speed.
From what I have seen the issue is getting your hands on one.

Do u have similar issues with the fix being picky to cam over?
Mine is a pain to cam over, have to leave it loose like jtw said. Basically get it to about 2 inches from being fully cammed and then force it down. It’s not that hard though and definitely rock solid

you have to cam it similar to OOAL platforms, set your strap basically horizontal, then lift up on the biting portion of the platform and set.

At this point my major items I need to start saddle hunting won’t be here until 2024. I guess that what I’m looking forward to.

Carbon fiber isn't an optimal material for whatever climbing related or platforms in my opinion. I'm old enough to remember the Ol' Man Air Elite attempt at carbon fiber tree stands.. You guys be the guinea pig. Maybe I'm wrong because todays carbon fiber looks more like plastic but ask yourself if you think a carbon fiber anything will last as long as aluminum.
I have an excellent Ol Man Air Elite. Loved that stand. Was there issues with it? Great platform; good grip.

Never thought of that before….. he didn’t even have to consider “ The Unwritten Law of the Bowhunter,” better known as “The rule of first blood.” I’m assuming he didn’t even shoot at it or shoot at all? What a Cretan! It just begs the question of the other things someone like this is willing to do. I’d call the game wardens and see what your rights are. Understandably it’s a long shot but it
May not be a complete waste of effort. Who knows it may trigger other issues as I’m sure this guy has committed other game law violations as well.
