Have a compromised immune system. Have an issue with rashes when it grows very long. Have a cream that keeps it in check as long as it’s not too long. Use clippers every 3 weeks or so to maintain. Looks better and wife says I look like a bum when it’s too long anyway.

Had a beard since I was a wi lad. 12,13. Been clean shaven once since then. It probably wont ever happen again either. 25 now and will always have a beard.
If and that’s a big if I ever get married (terrible luck here) I’m going mutten chops! Civil war style. I wanna look like this guy

I can’t pull off a beard but my chops almost connect to the stache so I think I would stand a chance with that style.

I use to but now all I have is a goatee. Besides I wear a full camo facemask while hunting so it would be covered.

Had a full beard since I was 14 on and off. Did goatee for few years. Did a fairly long stint of clean shaven in early 20’s when I had REALLY long hair but cut hair and got a real job. I’ll shave clean bout once a year but getting older now and the baby face look just don’t feel right so probably won’t be doing that again. I can shave at daylight and have stubble by noon so I just don’t mess with it anymore.

I've always hated shaving. Unfortunately, the jobs I wanted required being clean-shaven... until about 2014. Since then I've only shaved a small handful of times, for work. I even got married in my beard, as the tan lines would have made the wedding pictures look off...

It takes about a week for the itching to stop. It helps to use beard oil. Doesn't have to be some overpriced product, a few drops of argan or jojoba oil from the hippie food store works just fine. I get beardruff really bad, and sometimes ingrown hairs, but aggressively combing it out every few days prevents that. When I get a haircut I have the cutter trim up the edges, I can maintain that line with an electric shaver.
