Beast stand - part2

If he comes up with a fix what will he do with the stands out there since its a known problem.
 
Is it popping due to tree contact or metal on metal parts moving? I was under the impression it was the platform v or the offset bracket shifting in/on the bark and making noise. Dan’s post makes it seem like it’s a metal on metal issue? Mines not here yet to play with lol

It's the bracket in the wood grain of harder trees as I've explained previously on this thread. It's what I'm calling a friction pop. I don't think a dampener will work for it. I think the troubleshooting will be figuring out the leverage force into the wood while there is weight on the stand.

I haven't heard any popping on mine. I have the newer bracket installed and I beveled the teeth like the sticks. It may just be the smooth surface. Has anyone tried just sanding the finish on the bracket to rough it up. I think that was the fix on the black predator brackets if I remember right. Worth a try for somebody having issues then just repaint with a texture paint with some grit in it.
 
I was looking at Genesis 3D video for beast stand versa hangers and noticed his beast stand has a different bracket??
