Beast stand - part2

Looks like he bit on the 1.0. Does further comparison to the Beast and OG LW Assault.
Raves about the backpack straps that come with 1.0, yet uses some old cam straps for straps (SMH). Mentions how 1.0 is loose on tree with no weight on it. So, throw another strap or USA on the lower versa button. Solid as a rock...

The funniest is how he'll brag how amazing a product is, whether it be a stand, sticks, or saddle. Yet no matter what he uses the same assault stand and garbage lw sticks

It’s not floppy on the tree. The beast stand is much more floppy on the tree unweighted

Hard to fix what aint broke…. Don’t get me wrong I love my .5. But my assault and modified lw sticks were awesome.
I use 3 LW 32in sticks they work great! And the Assaults2 is one of the best stands ever made IMO! I have used just about every stick made and keep going back to LW / novix 32in with 1 aider.Screenshot_20231105-082531_Gallery.jpg

My gripe is, if you're going to review a product, great. Don't just put out a video before you really use and set up the product to iron what you think are issues or concerns before you deem them so...

Nothing wrong with the assault. I hate the lw sticks. I never modified mine but don't like how long they are and couldn't stand my feet on two different levels while climbing

Yea that was something I just got used to was using one foot on each step I run doubles with my .5 now makes hanging a stand a little easier.

Funny how we are all different. I love my feet on 2 different levels. Makes it easy for me to hang the stand. I rest it on one knee strap it on and go.
I just picked up a pack of Novix mini single step sticks. I like my LWCG singles. But the Novix save me over 1lb of weight.

I still prefer the way LWCG compacts pack and carry. Reduces felt weight and bulk. Plus more standoff distance and I can stand with 2 feet on top. Pack great with LWCG stands.

But I never complained about LW sticks. Just find the custom gear offer a bit more for me.

Don't know why anyone would test it that way anyway. Top strap only the cinch pressure is much higher on the post. So, of course the bottom is going to move unweighted, but w/two it's a non-issue. Many guys use just an upper strap. I use both and as a hybrid.

I had LWCG full single step sticks they are really 28in and weighed more than my 32in LW single sticks. I get 18ft with 3 and 1 22in aider and only hanging 3 makes it faster and more efficient for me. The single step dosen't bother me because I'm not on them long.

My calves start cramping up for some reason if my feet are on different levels.

Edit: I’m referring to being stationary for any meaningful amount of time
