Beast stand - part2

I also beveled the teeth on mine but it didn’t completely fix the issue. The batwing worked because it doesn’t bite so deeply into the tree. I also found that the noise issue varies between different types of trees. Hack berry trees seem to be particularly bad for som reason.
Dan was talking about the problem before never heard anything more about the fix!!! Screenshot_20231130-211334_Chrome.jpg

I had two Beast stands sold both!! I think it's really nice stand but I couldn't deal with any noise in a stand! I did have the new bracket and filed the bracket and platform teeth at 45 degree angle didn't help I hunt maple and oaks a lot. My .5 dosen't make a sound!!!

He said that almost 2 years ago and hasn’t changed a damn thing. The beast bracket needs a redesign. I tried the EWO one and the Novix brackets. They seem to remedy the problems with the bracket. The noises and the issues I had with small diameter hard leaners. But it’s a $650 treestand and it should be perfect out of the box.

I've decided I'm selling mine. After running the 4 one sticks and the XC all season, even if got the transport issues resolved I couldn't imagine lugging around a 6+lb stand around. Never thought I'd see the day but I'm a full saddle convert

Any noise in a stand is a BIG DEAL. Of course he's going to say that, he has a ton of money wrapped in a noise maker.

Are you going to a ros or are you using a platform?

Jason just reviewed the .75 compared to the beast. He seemed smitten my it.

again, not sure why his opinion matters. Never seen a .75 before. Amazed by the Lone wolf carry shelf that they had for how long. Didnt know what EWO was. Hes a salesman just listen to him. He will change his story in 6 months. Hes a doof

The custom gear stands are superior to the beast stand in every way. Pick what you want al la carte… platform, seat, post. However you want…
I really wish, even at expense there was a deburred option that got tumbled or something so it was perfect out of the box

The new custom gear stands and compact sticks don’t have a sharp edge on them. They are chamfered all around the perimeter and post. Then ran through a deburring machine.

I haven’t used it this season, and only maybe once or twice last season, but my stand has never made a sound. Killed 3 deer out of hackberry trees.

It’s the perfect dimensions for someone 6’3 and narrow. If I had found it prior to guidos web and hybrid I likely never get into saddles.

I’m glad that’s not the case.

I may sell it because I don’t use a hang on enough to justify an expensive one.

But it’s flawless for my purposes. Maybe one day it’ll start making noise or something.

LOL, It won't.

The LWCG is an amazing stand and combined with a saddle an even better combo.

And you'll appreciate it even more when you kill one which makes a couple hundred yards down a ravine with 300'-400' of elevation to use the seats fixed pack out feature and a game bag to climb back out when you don't have a full frame pack and noone else around to help you get it back up that long grade. If theres a fixed stand to own this is it.

I had lwcg, and sold it.

I’ve packed two out on the beast stand.
