I saw that about a week ago. I was kinda waiting for the shape charge in rg to be back up but I may just have to pass. I have a new echo and Sherman pocket I am going to try and setup to see if it works. I don’t need the robust waist belt since the public in my area you can can’t really go back farther than about a mile. Looks good initially, but I was looking to add a Stryker xl and frame, but I think I might have just been priced out of that.

Yep, I posted something similar on rokslide. Kifaru has just gotten ridiculous with their pricing. I had a Rogan in my cart on Friday for a delivered price around $148. By Sunday that price was over $180 and they also stopped offering free shipping on items over $100 despite me having just received an email stating shipping was free for orders over $100. I've spent upwards of $1400 with them since November, but I'm done till either a sale comes along or I'll just buy used if I want anymore Kifaru. I love their stuff, but apparently not as much as they do.

Looks like Multicam went up, but Ranger Green and Coyote are the same (non-sale) price for the Duplex Lite as before.

I see most things went up. The steelhead went up $30 it was 200 with harness now $230. pockets, packs seems like a 15% increase across the board. Maybe the rg duplex lite hasn’t gotten hit yet.

Black Friday sale went better than expected volume wise; have to recover/recoup.

They'll probably build up some stock and then run a 15% sale, lol.

My brother was going to get a Shape Charge and add the frame later. Not happening unless Memorial Day is a boon, or some other sales.

I paid almost half that last year in February (on sale) and was pissed because they sweetened the sale two weeks later.

My RRXL didn't fit inside and I found a pack that it does, so the X-ray hasn't seen any use. The build is so well executed though, that I've hung on to it. I like the bag. But $642, geez.

I liked my shape charge but I think they need to reengineer their X-ray shoulder straps. Add some padding. Those are brutal after awhile.

Roger. I haven't hauled mine around. Had the impression the belt was great and would really take much of the weight from those straps. I guess it's not enough relief then.

Well looks like I missed my chance to buy Kifaru. Hopefully this isn’t a trend for other companies to follow. I found my Mystery Ranch Beartooth for 300$ bag and frame. Picked up a Pintler for 200$. So two bags and frame for the price of a frame from Kifaru. They might be better but they arnt that much better. Really bummed because I wanted to try kifaru.

Belt doesn’t really hug you. I was constantly trying to loosen the shoulder straps and tighten the waist belt to shift weight to my hips. The straw that broke the camels back was the last hunt I went on. I had 4 skeletors strapped to my pack 32oz Nalgene bottle of water, ROS nothing crazy. Maybe 15lbs… according to onX my walk back would be 1167 yds. By the time I was within 300 yds of my destination I was ready to dump the pack and come back for it the next day! My traps were knotted up for days.

I had the Pintler before I bought my Kifaru stuff and really liked it for the most part. The one thing I didn’t like about it was the top bag in the lid. If you have anything at all in there it’s impossible to keep the lid out of the way when trying to access the bag.

I noticed the same problem with both of my bags. Definitely not knocking Kifaru, Ik they probably had to raise their prices. Just a bummer more than anything.

Maybe has something to do with the Shape Charge suspension vs the X-ray/14r. I put the Omni belt on my Motherlode pack and it really holds tight on me. That pack has a lumbar pad like the X-ray, is nowhere near as nice though.
