Camofire MR sale right now. Pop28 $197!!!

Looks like the new versions in 39 and 40 address SOME of the issues I identified awhile ago. Like they were reading my post.

How’s everyone running theirs? Would love to see pics

If you disconnect the meat shelf, you can load the .5 (w/ single step sticks) sliding the seat under the pack pretty easily. I have mine set up for that. It is compact.

Everything feels lighter on my back when I use my (somewhat bigger) Kifaru Duplex Lite, but the Stryker bag is a better fit for platforms than the stand. To mod it in order to tuck the seat under the pack would require some cutting and sewing. Very doable, but I lack sewing equipment.

I'll grab a pick when I get a moment.

Can you attach larger bags than the 28L to it? That seems small if you want to carry meat? I’ve heard a lot of people talk about these bags over the years but I’ve never looked into them.

Yes and no. The Popup frame can fit other bags from MR bags that fit the Guide Lite and NICE frame except the buckles not going to align perfectly. A lot of peoplr like to run the MR Pintler bag with the popup frame because the Pintler bag seem more versatile. MR saw this and their newer 30 and 40 look like it add some of the characteristics of the Pintler to the popup bag. I actually was going to get the 38, but when l learned this. I got the 28 instead with plans in a few years to get bigger bag

These are 20" sticks. My brother has my 17" sticks in MD.

I had a Pintler before I ever owned a pop up. One of the first things I thought when I got the pop up was it would be better with a Pintler bag. Not just the added room, but the 3 way zippered opening is great.
