Priced at what I just paid for the 38…… not even close to what I paid for it…I definitely like the Pop Up series of packs, but wish I could find the 18 size - Maybe someday
You definitely don’t need it, but they are sweet! My go to now.I dont even need one but you guys got me over here thinking do I?
Don't have a pic, currently using my Kifaru, but basically sticks and platform in the meat shelf and everything else I need in the bag. How’s everyone running theirs? Would love to see pics
Yes and no. The Popup frame can fit other bags from MR bags that fit the Guide Lite and NICE frame except the buckles not going to align perfectly. A lot of peoplr like to run the MR Pintler bag with the popup frame because the Pintler bag seem more versatile. MR saw this and their newer 30 and 40 look like it add some of the characteristics of the Pintler to the popup bag. I actually was going to get the 38, but when l learned this. I got the 28 instead with plans in a few years to get bigger bagCan you attach larger bags than the 28L to it? That seems small if you want to carry meat? I’ve heard a lot of people talk about these bags over the years but I’ve never looked into them.

Oh yeah. Piggyback on this. I dont intend to carry meat in the bag ever. Bigger bag is for possible camping trip.I always carry meat on the overload shelf. The size of the bag doesn’t matter.
Anyone have the video where he shows how he put gatekeepers on his webbing instead of buckles?Oh yeah. Piggyback on this. I dont intend to carry meat in the bag ever. Bigger bag is for possible camping trip.

If you disconnect the meat shelf, you can load the .5 (w/ single step sticks) sliding the seat under the pack pretty easily. I have mine set up for that. It is compact.
Everything feels lighter on my back when I use my (somewhat bigger) Kifaru Duplex Lite, but the Stryker bag is a better fit for platforms than the stand. To mod it in order to tuck the seat under the pack would require some cutting and sewing. Very doable, but I lack sewing equipment.
I'll grab a pick when I get a moment.
Pintler bag only is available on Camofire today for $139. Anyone going to try the bag swap?
You will not be disappointed in a pop up.Dang wish you guys didn’t tell me that
I have the Popup, I meant the pintler bag only lol but I need to give the Popup a proper run through before I get another or an additionYou will not be disappointed in a pop up.
