Deer alert to odor that they associate with human contact. Body odor, gas exhaust, etc.. not foreign odors like coffee and human food. Just had five walk under me within a yard of the tree and i had a donut in my mouth lol

Version 5 done. Cell phone holder is attached with 3M Dual Lock. It says it holds 10lbs but my phone will not stay on...so back to the drawing board. I think I'm going to try good old velcro. Sewn in an X to all for landscape mode...

Other upgrades are an added 6" of strap down the back for hanging longevity, internally sewn bottom loops so you can't see the sewing and 1/8" elastic chord instead of 1/16".

Y'all got way to much time on your hands... Ya may need to hunt areas with better deer density.. No time to monkey around with all that in my set up.. Lol.. With that being said though here's my solution:
Drink coffee on the way to property -
Hang pack in front of you, open pouch that holds water bottle-
Place cell phone in pocket and stay off facebook so I can watch for deer -
