Thanks!I used Krylon camo because that’s what I had laying around. I would get too excited about it since it will surely wear off anyway.

I have the new website ready to take orders for DoubleSteps, who wants to be the first to test it out? I'll add a gallery soon - still waiting on some more pics.

Coupon for SaddleHunter.com members: SHNOVEMBER (10% off - brings price back down close to $10.50 step for now).
I'm hoping this process will be much smoother for everyone involved. Currently have 50 steps in stock, ready to ship and will try to keep inventory on hand so there's not much delay. My buddy who is making these has the process down better and can turn them around pretty quickly now too.
For the graphic artists out there, I still need to get a logo. Maybe I could donate a couple steps for a nice logo.
LOL, I have not made a cent on the several hundred that have been sent out. Not looking to get rich, just trying to offer something to the community and hopefully reduce my effort in doing that. Maybe some day I'll recoup my costs for setting up the store, but not the goal.Cool
Hope this works well for u

They're $10-ish plus a few bucks for postage, so +/- $25. Genuinely worth it. You can get some 6061 aluminum on ebay for $16 shipped and DIY a versa button with a washer and spacer/spring. Better than a LW stick for half the price minus the brackets, or $10 saved for a superior product with the LW brackets. How much for two steps.

I made a set of mini sticks that worked great. Dano Steps were key.

Drill press does work better - any friends with a drill press? I wouldn't go out and buy one though. Just mark and drill from both sides instead of drilling all the way through and you'll be fine. Send me pics when you're done with them - want to fill my online gallery up!Ordered 8 Double Steps last Thursday and they arrived today. Excellent service and I’m thrilled with the product in hand. For you guys who have built these in the past, I have 4x 24”x1”x0.125” 6061 aluminum square tubing. Would you recommend I get ahold of a drill press to drill for the steps/v brackets/versa button rather than going at it by hand?
Really excited to get these on a tree. My Lone Wolf versa buttons and brackets are on the truck to be delivered tomorrow.
I tried to run some costs on @bowhunter15 list and it seems like if you don't have the stand off "V brackets" laying around, that's where the price of each DIY stick will hurt you ($9.99 each from Lone Wolf). Anyone know where to find them cheaper? Two V brackets plus two double steps puts your sticks above $40 apiece without any other piece. I'd really like to make my own but some deals have Lone Wolf sticks at ~$130/3. Might just purchase some Lone Wolfs and replace the top step with a double step. I'm new to this so any info would be helpful!
XOP used to sell the v brackets with free shipping, that's what I used. They aren't super cheap to build due to these costs, but the advantage is you get to build them just like you want them with custom step spacing, etc. I hope to offer some tree brackets soon, but I'm pretty sure they won't be cheaper than Lone Wolf, waiting on some prototypes being built now.
