In 2018 I bought a First Lite Woodbury jacket and Sanctuary bibs. The last season and a half has been rough and I've been getting busted more than I ever have since I started hunting in 2002. I was reading the other day about deer's ability to see UV light. I never considered it to be an issue because I use exclusively Seventh Generation detergent year round for all my clothes. I was messing around in the basement last night and I pulled out my UV light for fly tying and the damn thing glows like a Christmas tree. I went to First Lite's chat on the website and they said the DWR finish will reflect UV light, but they don't add brighteners. My bibs don't glow. Here's a side by side comparison between the bibs (rear) and jacket getting the same amount of UV light. Has anyone else found this to be an issue? Is there any way to remedy it? I've washed it maybe a dozen a more times in Seventh Generation over the last two years. I'm pretty pissed.
