Yep, correct. 845 Lake George Rd, Seville. I called Karen (site manager) and she said according to the group permit, it's the primitive area.

Here let me help clear up your confusion… check the pin on the map provided on the site. 845 is the address but it’s not where the actual entrance to the camp ground is. The parking lot and pavilion are part of the camp ground.

So meet at the dropped pin/demo area???
Use 1518 lake George rd Seville Fl 32190. It will stop you across the street from the dirt road entrance to the camp area. We are having the meet up by the pavilion and parking lot. That way there is space for guys to park and walk around. There are trees around the perimeter so that everyone can claim a tree and set up there saddles for people to check out. Sorry for all the confusion. Yes Jaybo is right about the physical address but it won’t actually take you to the camp site so use the 1518 that I posted. Thanks and see you tomorrow

I hope the weather holds out for you guys. Have fun and if it does sprinkle on you a bit this will give you something to compare it to.

The first reading (-8F) was at 6:30 this morning pulling into the parking lot at work. We had some network issues at work so I ended up burning a vacation day. The second (-13F) was at 8:30 after the sun came out. Beautiful cloud free day but I think I'll spend it inside. :tearsofjoy:

Come on down here and show us Floridian’s up! Even if we get a little mist it’s gonna be 54 degrees all day and you deserve a break from the subarctic

Ok everyone here is my “official” update. As was pointed out the physical address is 845 lk George rd but that takes you all the way out around to a driveway by the lake instead of the camp grounds. If you enter 1518 it’ll take you approximately 200 yards past the actual entrance to the camp grounds. If you go all the way to that gps coordinate you will have passed the entrance. For the sake of confusion and so that no one ends up lost, we are putting out a couple of black chalk board signs on the side of the road directly before the entrance so you can see it from 305. Also as you drive up the entrance to the parking lot and pavilion, there is a fork in the road. Going right takes you off into the woods, staying left on the road will take you to the pavilion and pasture where the event will be held. I will place another sign there as well to prevent anyone from getting lost. @JAYBO verified the info is accurate and has identified a few good trees people can use to demo with. The whole pasture is surrounded by trees so there will be tons of space for everything. If everyone who rsvp’d or said they were coming shows up, we will have more than 20 people there which is a nice turn out for a first ever event. There will be a minimum of 6 different platforms (including the climber from barren ridge) for people to try and as of now the saddle count includes dryad Drey, a CGM sidewinder, Tethrd phantom, Wood Tree Saddle Deluxe, WTS original, Aerohunter Kestrel, Kite and Evo, Cruzr XC, Trophyline Ambush lite, TX5 reaper and there will be some awesome DIY stuff. There will be some climbing sticks, one sticking, SRT and Ddrt climbing. Squirrel steps, Hawk monkey bars…. And the infamous stirrup climbing method used by @Weldabeast

And just incase no electricity, no running water is keeping you from coming. The Marina "Pine Island Campsite Marina" has open spots right now with water and electric hookup. It is about 1.5 miles down the road on the lake.

They also have a little store and bathhouse. Site number 6 is right on the water and across from the bathhouse.

I've got an annual chili contest that I've been competing in for years Saturday night, It snuck up on me this year. If I get my chili where I want it tonight I may ride down in the AM for a few hours. If I don't make have fun looks like it should be a good turnout.

@boyne bowhunter pick me up on the way if your going. Your about 4 hrs north of me. So get going.
I'd love to go, 50's would be tee shirt and shorts weather for me this time year (maybe even crocs o_O), but 20 hrs one way is a long drive . . . .

Edit: Oh, and @MattMan81 the wife says you'd need to ride in the back seat. She's called shotgun. While she'll let me disappear for a month at a time during deer season there's absolutely no way I'm getting to Florida in February without her.

Man hope that chilli making went well, hate for you to miss the event
