Yesterday morning I packed my truck and I was looking forward to meeting and learning from you and sharing experiences with you as well as hunting and camping. However, last night I got laryngitis and a cough and have come down with a bad cold. I don’t want to spread it to any of you. So, I won’t be joining you at this weekend's Florida Saddle Hunters Meetup and Campout and Hog Hunt. Maybe I’ll see some of you at the SaddlePalooza 22 event at Fort Stewart. I hope to attend this Florida Saddle Hunter Meetup event next year if you have it.
Good luck, be safe, slay some hogs.

I need to run it by the misses but I'd like to... That camp was pretty nice and easy to access the woods. Did any of u that went out and rode the roads see anything?

Saw a dead doe on the side of the road about 4 miles out on our way back home looked like a car got it….. However those horse trails off of truck trail 2 have plenty of hogs. Especially close to the lake

I could probably make it out there the last weekend. I didn't see any hogs, but I did have a nice doe come out 20 yards in front of me and browsing around for 20 minutes or so. I don't usually still hunt, so that was a first for me and a great experience.

Sweet...if the misses gives me a weekend I'll camp and if I only get a day I'll drive down and back....I didn't reserve anything.... I'll find somewhere to sleep if there's no room at where we just stayed
I'm sure there will be room. I reserved Friday through Sunday. Six adults per site. I just don't know how many trees will be available for hammocks. I really didn't pay much attention when we were there.

Ill bring my hammock stand if I'm coming. I still need to pick up my Jet sled.
