Shooting out of it is no problem. It has a strap under the arms that you can cinch down and take all the extra bulk in the material out.
My only concern is the bottom wearing on the steps. I going to use it and see how it does. If anyone decides to go this route make sure you get a suit alittle bigger than you need. It gives you more room for the saddle under it.
I have been hunting in central ohio all week and though it's not been brutal cold the wind chill will kill you. For some reason I get cold really fast and once I'm cold I'm headed to the house. I have use the iwom all week and it is by far the best money I have ever spent. I have added a couple more steps to my strap and with the iwom on I can move around the tree with no problem. I have even gotten where I can put the iwom on or off once I'm in the tree at hunting height. It's snowing on me right now and I'm just as warm as I was in my bed this morning. If you have problem with cold you really need to check one of these out.
Imagine the warmbag as a wind proof water proof sleeping bag with a hood and arm holes that zip open.
Only way I've figured out to stay warm in super cold weather and the saddle is heavy weight base clothing and quality mid to outter layer. The the way I hunt with the saddle is tedious I don't need no clothing restrictions but I need warmth. No iwom
Warmbag or HBS will work for me and I'm a very agile and mobile 145lb fella. My buddies say I'm like a monkey
