Hey guys I’m sure there is a thread out there. I can’t find them. Maybe post them here. I’m using a HYS strap with a heroclip. I’m not a fan of how it can be difficult to get off. I saw the Tethrd bow strap holder and liked it. What are you using
I feel like having it on your bow is one less thing to lose or forget. Also helps me skip a step in my setup. Happen to have a picture of your gear hanger? I’m thinking amsteel daisy but I want a good way to secure it like the HyS strapI have a DIY amsteel gear hanger that is a copy of a popular one (basically a daisy chain with lopsided loops so they stay open and it is tensioned with an aluminum nite ize carabiner thing).
I then have a hook on my bow that is basically metal bolted to the bow in a bushing and covered in felt. Tethrd makes something similar that bolts to the sight.
Having the hanger on the bow seems much more secure and it is quiet. It is weird to have something like that on your bow (not attractive), but I feel it is superior to hook your bow to a gear hanger versus put a hook on a gear hanger that you then hang your bow on.

Just not sure I like 3d printed stuff. Idk much about it or it’s durability. Thanks though! I’ll check into itI second the Genesis 3D Gear Hanger System
Is a system like this rigid? Idk how to explain it. When I grab my bow off my hero clip it moves so I have to wiggle my bow off. I want a solid public land friendly bow hanger. I’m hoping the Tethrd arm thing workshere's a thread I made right after I built the prototype
DIY bowtech bow hanger
All the hardware is 5/16" fine thread. The main bolt is 1.25" long. A piece of metal stock with hole goes over it and a bolt holds them together. The shorter bolt goes in the back and keeps the longer bolt from working loose. Hanging off an amsteel daisy chain.saddlehunter.com
the finished version has the following modifications: slightly shortened the steel plate that the bolt goes through, bent that shortened steel plate out slightly so that it goes on gear strap better, coated the whole business with stealth strips once i was happy
here's the amsteel gear hanger
Daisy Chain Gear Hanger — BackWoods Mobile Gear
This is our 5’ long Daisy Chain Gear Hanger made from 7/64 Amsteel . It’s time to say goodbye to the old, bulky webbing gear hangers and get lighter with the Amsteel Gear hanger from BackWoods Mobile gear.www.backwoodsmobilegear.com
bowtechs have a bushing in the perfect spot for this, but tethrd makes an aluminum hook that goes on your sights (and there's tons of DIY options i'm sure you could come up with a few)
