How many people actually use a bino chest rig?

I always have mine on me. I made a mint setup that I can quickly switch from pack to pack and to a neck/ shoulder strap. from Marsupial Gear.

I wear a Badlands Bino XR every trip into the woods! Rarely do I have binos in it, usually it's just my basic gear rig. I almost always hang it once I'm in the tree though...

I guess I should have clarified wearing them while in the saddle while hunting. Or do you find them getting in the way while drawing your bow or whatever else you may or may not be doing in your saddle?
I’m just looking for a low profile harness and the FHF gear one looks like a good fit.

It comes off and I pull it up with the doyle's and Hangs on the tree or sits on the ground, but I have practiced shooting with it on. Just in case something happens on the walk in or out.

I use mine for everything. I wear it shooting 3D. All season and it had never been in my way at anytime

I wear mine from the time I get out of the truck until I get back to the truck. I hunt in the southeast. It has never caused me a problem in the tree or from the ground. I typically practice shooting my bow while wearing it. Comes in handy when practicing past 30 yards. I can just use my binos to check out where I am hitting on target.

Just got this Bino harness for 37 bucks on Amazon and it is sweet! I’ve been using just the vortex straps without a harness for the past two years and Binos were much more of a game changer than I ever imagined. Just getting to see the size of the buck (or lack thereof) coming in makes it well worth it IMO :)...

Made a little custom go pro holder for it tonight out of kydex.

Here’s the link for anyone interested - looks like the price went up to 45 - ALPS OutdoorZ RMEF Ridge Stalker X Harness https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M6V7K9...t_i_GSM0T7VW8F05ATAJBQWP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I had this one for a year, no kydex. It was loud and bulky for my vortex binos. FHF was worth every penny.

It worked great until I knew something better.

Fair enough! Guess I will see how it performs this year.

I think the RMEF model of anything ways costs more and the price difference goes to the foundation. Eberlestock does that with their bags.

FHF harness it is which equates to more practice.

Thank you everyone.

I wear mine scouting and hunting. I use the Alaska guide creations. It hold my binos, range finder, head light, license, lighter and maybe a snack. I also carry a 9mm on it too. It’s a great accessory for me especially day hunting.
This right here. You can put so much in one of the AGC harnesses. I'm also on the East coast and carry binos every hunt and also always have an extra pair in my car. The AGC is great because you can have your range finder and so many other things in it. If the situation is right you can leave your pack in the car.

Indiana Hunter and I always wear mine while hunting any game, very handy even in the woods. I use the Rick Young harness as well.

its a solid buy. I like how you can switch up configurations as shown in his video.

I got the neoprene cover (picture soft beer koozie material) for a gift a few years back. It's pretty nice also, but can be a bit of a pain to manage if you are constantly wanting to cover and uncover. I either let my hang half open, or travel with them covered and remove at first glassing. They can be stashed in a front pocket easily.

Got mine in yesterday so I haven’t had them out hunting, but first impression is that it’s exactly what I was looking for. Super functional and out of the way unlike my chest pack. I also like the different ways you can wear it; I can definitely see that coming in handy out in the field.

I just got the Eberlestock Nosegunner. So far, I like it but I haven't hunted with it yet. The jury's still out

One of the older vortex guide packs made by AGC holds my binos, rangefinder, milkweed pouch, tags, backup knife, and a couple of extra rounds during gun season.

Kinda like my handwarmer muff. It's always with me no matter the weather.
