I hear that. I had some cheap stuff. So I landed here.Correct. That is exactly why I wouldn't sell my Stratus set. Just not worth making the switch, for me personally.

Quite a bit more insulation than the Stratus from what I'm seeing. A Stratus jacket is 24oz. Proximity is 31oz w 90/60g mapped insulation.
The Fanatic should be quite a bit warmer at 46 oz, with 120/80 mapped insulation and windstopper.
And it looks to be a bit less warm than the Eberhart scentlok collaboration:
Proximity Jacket: 160g/m^2 fleece, 90/60g mapped insulation, 97g/m^2 liner
vs
Scentlok Saddle Hunter Jacket: 180g/m^2 fleece, 100/80g mapped insulation, 180g/m^2 lining + windproof
So, the Proximity is probably closer to the Revenant Pro (100/60 mapped insulation) but without a windproof membrane.
Are there two revenant lines? Regular and pro?
I’ve got mostly Kuiu verde. And a fanatic hoody. I’m mixing too.I really like this line. I have Sitka for the stand but everything else I own is Kuiu Valo, it's all top notch. The only thing keeping me from jumping is the Stratus system with fanatic hoody and Celsius midi is such a good system. If they had something like the fanatic hoody with a face mask I think I'd move right away. I'd have enough Valo to be a Russian doll of camo.
Maybe I'll just mix Valo with EVII but I'm just unsure if all the forkies I shoot will still show up if I don't match. It's a serious conundrum.

Been eye balling that stuff too. May grab the wind pro fleece as a test piece and add from there. Most of my warmer gear is getting a good bit of age and wear to it.Good to here. Might grab the jacket in the solid brown after this season.
Yep, that's why I have a fanatic set as well lol. Took me two terribly cold January's to pull the trigger though. Attempted to use the vest as a mid layer recently but forecast changed and it warmed up so it stayed in the truck.I think the biggest thing everyone wants to know about the Proximity line is wind proof/resistance.
I haven't been hunting very long but I started with some nice (to me) UA cold gear. I went to NY during the rut to hunt with some good friends. The gear did fine down to 40 and even colder. But I sat the last day in the 30's and I was in a tree above the ridge about 100 yards away and the wind was right at my level. Holy shnikeys I was cold enough to go drop as much coin as necessary the next off-season on the sitka stuff as I never wanted to be that cold ever again.
Same concern here with beggar's lice and sand burr's. Doesnt really matter with the sand burrs, never seen any thing they wouldnt stick on or in.My concern is how bad its going to attracts burrs and such... I hunt some thick nasty stuff that usually causes problems with fleece type outerwear.
What are your thoughts.
