First hang of the season. Lost my drt pull string at the tree. Had to call an audible. Went to the my stand I set and hanging about. But I have been busted 3 times now. Deer are not moving the way I thought they would. Except the button buck I practiced drew on. Ruff start Screenshot_20221010-080526-083.png

There’s gonna be a squirrel fatality in about 5 minutes. This little bastard has been talking smack and trying to start a fight all morning.

Welda do you climb palm trees? I kinda figure they’d be loud and kinda blow in the wind but I don’t know. Educate me please I’m curious.
I've hunted out of plenty. U do have to watch movement and shaking the trunk but nothing to worry about. Areas with palms like that are "loud"...armadillos and squirrels make a ton of racket running around shaking the fronds up in the tree and the dead crunchy 1s on the ground. The only down side is they make ur ropes really dirty

40 yards over and my night would have been done, 6 deer (4 I’d shoot)hung out at 60 and headed the opposite way, I’m gonna sneak in closer next time I’m out. I did have a yearling at 18 but I let it walk.

All of you are making me jealous. This year has been jacked up for one reason or another with my next opportunity in 2 weeks.

The good news though is that we'll have hard freezes by the end of the week and that should finally put them into their fall pattern...and into sight...and range.

Glad I’m not the only one, hopefully it’s start picking up for ya buddy!
You too! I'm about ready to abandon this public thing and go take some people up on private hahaha. I've got at least one good spot. Seems my intel fell apart and I gotta figure the fall patterns out, it's all part of it though! I'm enjoying learning!
