Didn't have enough signal to post while out in the woods. I went to a new to me piece of public and hiked my ass off. Lots of elevation change, I ended up setting up in one of the first spots I checked out because it had tons of fresh crap everywhere. Right by the parking lot too! Didn't end up seeing any, but it was good to get out and scout another piece of land. Oh, and found some balloon pieces, but no deer sign nearby this time.

He was to the west of me then I lost sight of him. About an hour later, I started hearing deliberate single foot steps and occasional rustling to the east of me. Is wasn't a deer that I could see and the noise was too deliberate for a squirrel, chipmunk or coon so he must've circled behind me. Based on the commotion, he probably had better luck than me.
