Man I’m working it. Here in Natchitoches we are supposed to have 100+ mph winds and everyone is freaking out over it. Wish I could be out there in my American flag trunks with a beer in one hand and the flag in the other!

It’s raining hard here in Prairieville but the wind isn’t bad. A lot of my friends that live west, closer to Lake Chuck have evacuated to hunting camps in north Louisiana.
 
Man we have had thousands of people flee toward us. Yesterday people were waiting for 30+ minutes just to get gas at the gas stations right at I-49.

Yea several have continued through. The front of the storm hasn’t even reached us here in natchitoches yet, between 0500 and 0900 is when our bad time will be.

In Monroe right now it’s getting pretty high winds here not now that much raining yet. Was in Jonesville yesterday and it was shocking on how many people were evacuating and coming through Jonesville. Was told at around 12 there were lines at every gas station in town. I hope everyone stays safe out there might go climb a tree and test out some safely features during all this.

Trust me I’ve already learned. It is absolutely miserable here in Natchitoches, my house reads 102 on the thermostat and my patrol unit got totaled by a pine tree.

Anyone else thinking about taking chainsaws out to cut trails for deer through all the fallen timber? Might hit up some of my good spots and clear a nice path right by some ideal trees

How’s everyone doing? They’re telling us 3-6 weeks without power. Finally got water back yesterday, that was awful. I had to drive north and get a generator and window ac unit to keep the wife and little ones semi-comfortable the other day but man this heat will kill ya.

Man it’s a nightmare here honestly, I’ve been sleeping in my unit and leaving it running because my house is at 102 at the hottest part. No vacancies at hotels, food is getting low in town....it’s getting rough.

I feel ya man. I’ve been driving an hour just to fill up fuel cans for me and my neighbors generators. They’re mostly retired so I’ve been trying to help them keep their houses remotely cool and cut up trees in their yards. Me and the fam have been crushing MREs I got from work. You run into a bind man hit me up and I’ll try and score some cases for you.

I hear ya man, I’ve been trying to help as much as I can when I’m off as well. I can’t sleep much during the day and am on nights right now. Will do brother, I greatly appreciate it. How did you get your hands on a case of MRE’s? I can’t find em anywhere!
